After 15 years, this landmark production returns to Cornwall….. and many Footsbarn fans are looking forward to seeing and hearing one of their favourite productions again - in the tent. The tour begins in July and will take the play all over the world performing in theatres and festivals.

Footsbarn Theatre is one of the world’s leading touring companies, performing for the most part in one of their circus big tops. Renowned for exciting adaptations of classics by Shakespeare & Moliere, this multinational company transcend the barrier of language with their unique blend of visual theatre, music and magic.

Footsbarn began life in Cornwall in 1971, rehearsing in a barn owned by the late Oliver Foot, hence their name. In 1984, the company left Britain to take its brand of theatre to international audiencesand remained without a base until 1991 when a farm was purchased in central France, La Chaussée. This is their first return to Cornwallfor nearly ten years.
