INDIVIDUAL SERVICE HOUR OPPORTUNITIES – Opportunities you choose on your own

Donate Items to Mrs. Hesson's Aisle 1 Project.Donations are limited to items that are most needed. Gift cards are also welcome. You are only allowed 2 Individual Service hours for your donations ($10 worth of items=1 hour) Check the website for a list of items. For more information about the Aisle of 1 Project contact Ms. Hesson at ext. 7077.

Volunteering at The Caring Place-Must be 17 years old to go without an adult. You may go if you’re 16, but please bring an adult with you.Please call before you go!!!!!Call Anne-Mary at 869-4735 x227 or Rita Turner at x231 to let them know when you’re coming.

GROUP SERVICE HOUR OPPORTUNITIES – Opportunities we sponsor as a group

  • Boo Run 2013- Saturday, October 26th– for more information about volunteer opportunities.
  • Helping Hands Tutoring-Tuesdays at Christ Lutheran Church 4:30-5:30pm, working with students in the 1st-8th grade. GISD Background check is required. For more information contact Partners in Education at 512-943-5175.
  • Kids Working Wonders needs donations of new toys and gently used children’s books, CD’s and DVD’s to donate to Dell Children’s Hospital. You may earn up to 2 hours by bringing in these items. Each toy or item counts as ½ hour. You must bring the items to Mrs. Beran and have your service record sheet signed.

Our next meeting will be held on Oct. 9th. You must bring contracts and yearly dues (on or before that date).
