Your child should bring their swimming kit every time they have swimming. All students are expected to attend swimming lessons unless they have a current doctor’s medical excuse. Failure to attend will affect their PE grade.
PIRLS 2016 is the fourth cycle of the IEA Progress in International Reading Literacy Study (PIRLS), an assessment of reading comprehension that has been monitoring trends in student achievement at five-year intervals in countries around the world since 2001.The PIRLS 2016 assessment will provide internationally comparative data about how well children read after four years of primary schooling.Grade 4B and Grade 4E have been selected by PIRLS 2016 to do the assessment tests on the 5th and 6th of April, 2016. It is important that parents review some reading comprehensions with their children that will be sent home. We also urge parents to fill in a PIRLS 2016 Questionnaire that will be sent home and return the completed questionnaire as soon as possible.
