The Seed Enterprise Management Institute (SEMIs) completed two weeks training workshops on 7th June, 2014. The first training workshop on Seed Production was conducted between 25th May, 2014 and 31st May, 2014.

The second training workshop on Seed Drying, Processing and Storage for African Seed Company Practitioners was conducted between 1st June 2014 and 7th June, 2014. The trainings targeted seed company personnel and focused on instilling skills that are pertinent in seed production, drying, processing and storage.

College Plants Over 2,000 Indigenous Medicinal Trees

The College of Agriculture and Veterinary Sciences on 28th May, 2014 planted two thousand (2,000) indigenous medicinal trees at the Uni-Biopark located at the Field Station, Upper Kabete.
