Action Items from Previous Meeting

1.  Updated survey results/discussion

Discussed the results from the interest survey. Went through all questions to go through answers to illustrate some program needs. Interest survey results were sent out to all agency wellness champions via email for their viewing.

Agenda Items

1.  Minnesota State Capitol 5K Run/Walk

Discussed that the race is on 09/15/17, registration online was complete as of Tuesday 09/12/17 but any race participant could sign up the day of the race.

2.  Newsletter update

Discussed the format of the newsletter which will likely have five components to it consisting of a section for StayWell, Omada, LifeMatters EAP, Work Well, and Education/Highlights/Healthy Living Calendar information. Talked about their will be a meeting with health solutions team and communication team to put together the format for the newsletter. It will be used to promote all happenings involving wellness.

3.  Wellness Calendar

Discussed to group about Healthy Living Calendar that would start in 2018. Calendar was sent out to all agency wellness champions that listed the topic for each month. Wellness calendar is guide what information is being sent out to employees each month to give some conformity to the Work Well program in regards to education.

4.  RFP for wellness vendor

Discussed how the wellness team is in the beginning stages of a request for proposals for a wellness vendor that will be implemented in October 2018. Would like to gather information and/or recommendations of what agency wellness champions about what they would like to see in a wellness vendor. Sent out a four question survey to all agency wellness champions to receive feedback on what champs would want in a wellness vendor, and that is regardless of past participation with StayWell.

5.  Challenges update

Discussed that Justin Roberson met with wellness vendor, WELLRIGHT, about their platform with challenges. Will have to have an upcoming meeting with the health solutions team to see if there’s current room in the budget to purchase a few of the challenges possibly

New Action Items

1.  Open enrollment

Mentioned about open enrollment coming up in a month and a reminder to AWC’s to start reminding about taking the health assessment through StayWell

2.  Preventive care

Reminded AWC’s to start thinking about promotion to send out to employees about preventive care and getting routine check-ups for more accurate results on health values such a s height, weight, blood pressure, cholesterol, glucose levels

·  Discussed about World Car Free Day on September 22, 2017

·  Goal is for people to less dependent on their cars and try alternatives

·  Discussed about Tai Chi opportunities for small groups available through Rick

·  Sent out information to all agency wellness champions about information about Tai Chi that was sent from Rick

·  Discussed about nutrition based challenge they have going on at Revenue that includes eating more fruits and vegetables.
