  • Short-listed candidates will be invited to a 15-20 minute interview. Further information will be sent with your invitation.
  • Interviews are scheduled to take place onTuesday 21st - Wednesday 22nd March 2017.This is a compulsory element of the selection process.

iv)To remain flexible and available for the full duration of the Summer School period to ensure all activities are covered.

International Relationsat the University of Birmingham areoffering current students the opportunity to apply for an ambassador position on the Birmingham International Summer School 2017. Successful candidates will be expected to support BISS activities and events to ensure the smooth running of the summer school.The team of ambassadors will provide key support to the BISS Officer in managing the student experience. Thiswill involve assisting with pre-arrival arrangements, welcome and registration of BISS students, supporting induction through campus tours and networking with students, supporting social events and trips, and providing student support through accommodation drop in sessions. In order to assist with the selection process, please provide information below on the candidate’s current academic standing(grades/expected degree classification) and also their suitability as an advocate of the University and their general attitude.
