Ø MARUTI CAR USED BY THEM HAS ALSO BEEN SEIZED.
A team of officers of Crime Branch led by Inspr. Ashok Kumar and consisting of SI Ashok Kumar, HC Mahesh Kumar, HC Devender, HC Vinod, HC Ravinder, HC Vikram, Ct. Bhoop and Ct. Vipin under the supervision of ACP Suresh Kaushik and overall supervision of DCP/Crime D.K. Gupta has apprehended two notorious and desperate gangsters of Delhi and have recovered one pistol and a rifle alongwith 5 live cartridges. Gangsters are associates of notorious gangster Vikas Lagarpuria. Both the gangsters are involved in land grabbing and dealing with disputed properties. They are wanted in two cases of Delhi, one of Attempt to Murder of PS Chhawla and another of criminal intimidation of PS Dwarka Sec-23. They are earlier involved in cases of land grabbing and attempt to murder of Police stations H.N. Din, Najafgarh, Chhawla and Dabri. The Maruti Swift Car used by them has also been seized.
Information was received by SI Ashok Kumar that gangsters armed with deadly weapons would come in Maruti Swift car to meet one of their associate at Sec-19 Dwarka, Delhi. On this information a trap was laid and the Maruti Swift car was intercepted. Two persons were apprehended. They were later identified as Jaibir Shokeen (aged 27 years) s/o Deepchand r/o Najafgarh, Delhi and Sanjit @ Sanjeev (aged 38 years) s/o Nathu Ram r/o Dwarka, Delhi. One pistol .32 bore alongwith three live cartridges and one Rifle .315 bore alongwith two live cartridges were recovered from their possession. Case under the appropriate sections of the law was registered. The maruti Swift car was also seized.
The apprehended persons were subjected to intensive interrogation. It was revealed that they are associates of desperate and notorious gangster Vikas Lagarpuria. They disclosed that they are wanted in the following cases:-
1. On 9.7.2014, Jaibir Shokeen and Sanjit @ Sanjeev alongwith their associates shot and injured, a resident of Najafgarh, Delhi in the area of PS Chhawla due to monetary dispute over a property deal. A case of Attempt to Murder and Arms Act was registered at PS Chhawla, Delhi.
2. On 2.7.2014, Jaibir Shokeen threatened at gun point a person in Dwarka due to personal enmity. A case of Criminal Intimidation and Arms Act was registered at PS Sector-23, Dwarka, Delhi.
Besides these, both the gangsters have been earlier involved in cases of land grabbing, attempt to murder and hurt of various police stations of Delhi.
Profile
1. Jaibir Shokeen is a school drop out. In order to earn his livelihood he become a property dealer. In the year 2012, he become an associate of Vikas Lagarpuria and induged in land grabbing and dealing with disputed properties. To attain his ends he threatened his opponents at gun point and even opened fire on them.
2. Sanjit @ Sanjeev is a school drop out. In the year 2006, he was involved in a case of dacoity of Gurgaon, Haryana. In the year 2012 he become an associate of Jaibir Shokeen and helped him in his nefarious activities.
Local police has been informed about their arrest.

Ø EARLIER INVOLVED IN 88 CASES OF SNATCHING, ARMS ACT, NDPS ACT AND THEFT OF DELHI.
A team of officers of Crime Branch led by SI Baljit Singh and consisting of HC Pardeep Kumar, Ct. Sunil Kumar, Ct. Amit Thakur, Ct. Jagbir Singh, Ct. Praveen Yadav and Ct. Amit Kumar under the supervision of ACP Ram Mehar Singh and overall supervision of DCP/Crime D. K. Gupta has apprehended two desperate robbers/snatchers and have recovered four gold chains. An Apache motor cycle used in the crime has also been seized. Receiver of the stolen property has also apprehended. 51 cases of robbery and snatching of North, West, North-West, New Delhi, Outer Delhi, Gurgaon and Faridabad, Haryana have been worked out.
Information was received by Ct. Sunil Kumar that two desperate robbers/snatchers would come to Japani Park, Sec-10, Rohini to meet the receiver of stolen property to sell the robbed gold chains. A trap was laid and two persons were apprehended. They were identified as Raj Kumar (aged 51 years) s/o Ghasi Ram r/o Mangolpuri Delhi and Nitin @ Jugni (aged 35 years) s/o Ramesh r/o Shadhara, Delhi. Om Niwas (aged 50 years) s/o Gulzari Lal r/o Sultan Puri, Delhi, receiver of stolen property was also apprehended. Four robbed Gold Chains have been recovered. An Apache Motorcycle used in the crime was also seized. They are previously involved in 88 cases of Snatching, Arms Act, NDPS, Theft and Excise Act of Delhi.
The arrested persons were subjected to intensive interrogation. It was revealed that Raj Kumar is the kingpin of the gang. Raj Kumar drove the motorcycle and Nitin @ Jugni snatched/robbed the gold chains. Raj Kumar is a Bad Character of PS Mangol Puri, Delhi. He came out from jail in January 2011. He is previously involved in 39 cases of Snatching, Arms Act, NDPS and Theft of Delhi. Nitin @ Jugni is a Bad Character of PS Vivek Vihar, Delhi. He came out from jail in March 2014. He is previously involved in 49 cases of Snatching, Arms Act, NDPS, Theft and Excise Act of Delhi.
With their arrest 51 cases of robbery and snatching of North, West, North-West, New Delhi, Outer Delhi, Gurgaon and Faridabad, Haryana have been worked out.
Concerned police stations have been informed about their arrest.

PROCLAIMED OFFENDER IN BROAD DAY ROBBERY CASE ARRESTED
The staff of PS Mayapuri, West District has arrested a Proclaimed Offender namely Amit Kumar @ Sameer @ Sagar Suman s/o Raj Kishore Mehto r/o Village Sirsiya Barar, PS Bela, Distt Sitamadhi, Bihar present address RZB-9 Vijay Enclave, Palam, New Delhi, age 24 years.
NAME & PROFILE OF ACCUSED
Amit Kumar @ Sameer @ Sagar Suman s/o Raj Kishore Mehto r/o Village Sirsiya Barar, PS Bela, Distt Sitamadhi, Bihar present address RZB-9 Vijay Enclave, Palam, New Delhi, age 24 years.
INCIDENT
On 13.08.2009, Sh. Ramesh Kumar s/o Sh Raghunath Sharma r/o MCD Colony, Azadpur, Delhi has reported that he is teacher by profession. On 13.08.2009, he was going to his residence on his scooter slowly. In the mean time two boys approached him and hit him by knife as a result of which, he sustained injury. They robbed Rs. 10,000/- cash one mobile phone and some documents. In this regard, a case FIR No. 180/09 u/s 392/394/34 IPC was registered at PS Adarsh Nagar, Delhi and investigation was carried out. One accused Vijay Kumar was arrested. He disclosed the name of other accused as Amit Kumar @ Sameer s/o Raj Kishore Mehto r/o Village Sirsiya Barar, PS Bela, Distt. Sitamadhi, Bihar. Since then he was absconding. He was declared PO by the court of Sh. Neeraj Kumar, Ld. M.M. Rohini Courts, New Delhi on 25.09.2011.
TEAM & ARREST
Keeping in view a large number of Proclaimed Offenders, a Team comprising HC Vikrant Singh, No. 347/W, Ct. Shyam Sunder 675/W headed by Inspr. Khemendra Pal Singh, ATO/ Maya Puri under the supervision of Sh. Samay Singh ACP/Tilak Nagar were constituted and task was assigned to arrest the more POs.
On 21.07.2014, a secret information was received by HC Vikrant Singh, No. 347/W that the accused, Amit Kumar will come at Lajwanti Chowk, Janakpuri, Delhi. On this information, the team laid a trap at Lajwanti Chowk. There team laid a trap. Accused was arrested at the instance of informer. On sustained interrogation, accused disclosed that he Vijay robbed a person in the year 2009. Since then, he was absconding. He also changed his name and presently known as Sagar Suman to conceal his identity.
The staff involved in the arrest of PO is being suitably rewarded.

1. He was declared Proclaimed Offender by the Court of Ms. Aditi Garg, MM, Tis Hazari Courts, Delhi in the year 2012 in case FIR No.34/08 dated 28/01/2008 u/s 452/323/342/34 IPC Police Station Uttam Nagar, Delhi.
INCIDENT AND TEAM
A secret information was received by the Staff of Police Station Uttam Nagar that a person namely Anil Dagar s/o Ajit Singh Dagar r/o A-20, IInd Floor, Jai Bharti Enclave, Jain Road, Uttam Nagar, age 38 years who was declared proclaimed offender in case FIR No.34/08 u/s 452/323/342/34 IPC Police Station Uttam Nagar Delhi by the Court of Ms. Aditi Garg, MM, Tis Hazari Courts, Delhi in the year 2012 will come at Tis Hazari Courts.
Immediately, on receipt of the information, a team comprising HC Mahavir 324/W, Ct. Baljit and SI Govind Singh was constituted under the supervision of Inspr. Bhagwan Dass, SHO/Uttam Nagar to nab the Proclaimed Offender. A trap was laid in the complex of Tis Hazari Courts and Proclaimed Offender namely Anil Dagar was arrested.
The staff involved in good work is being rewarded suitably.

With the arrest of Sher Singh Chauhan S/o Roop Singh Chauhan R/o H.No.Vill. & P.O. Bonda, P.S. SardhanBushar, Tehsil- Rampur, District- Simla (H.P.) Age 40Yrs, a team of AATS, Outer District with SI Sumit Kumar of Anti- Snatching Cell, Outer District and officials of Wildlife,GOI under the leadership of Inspector Jai Pal Singh and in the close supervision of Sh. OmvirBhati ACP/OPERATI0NS Outer district has busted a wildlife animal skin trafficking channel operating from Himachal Pradesh and recovered one uncured Leopard skin.
INCIDENT
Case FIR No 761/14 dated 21/07/14 u/s 39, 48, 49,49(b)(1) & 51 Wildlife (Protection) Act 1972 P.S. SP Badli, Delhi
On 21.07.2014, at 1 PM, Secret informer came to the office of AATS, Outer District and gave information to Ct. Sohan Lal Tyagi No. 1056/OD about a person selling Leopard skin illegally and would come at Service Road near CNG Pump, Sanjay Gandhi Transport Nagar, Karnal By-pass, Delhi. Accordingly a team, comprising of SI Sumit Kumar of Anti-Snatching Cell, ASI Sajjan Pal, HC Balraj, Ct. Sohan Lal Tyagi & Ct. Satish of AATS alongwith Insp. Wildlife V.B. Dasan & Insp. R.R. Meena was constituted & briefed by Inspector Jai Pal Singh, Incharge, AATS, Outer District. Sh. OmvirBhati/ACP/Operations, Outer District was informed about the information. He instructed to proceed immediately. Accordingly above raiding party apprehended Sher Singh Chauhan S/o Roop Singh Chauhan R/o H.No. Vill. & P.O. Bonda, P.S. SardhanBushar, Tehsil- Rampur, District- Simla (H.P.) Age 40 Yrs at the said place and an uncured leopard skin was recovered from his possession. The Leopard skin was identified by the Wildlife officials present in the joint raid, the possession, selling or buying of which is prohibited vide Schedule-I of the Wildlife (Protection) Act 1972.Sher Singh Chauhan was not having any valid permission from the competent authority for possession of the skin. Therefore, the recovered uncured Leopard skin was seized as per procedure. Above cited FIR was registered on this recovery and accused was arrested.

SardhanBushar, Tehsil- Rampur, District- Simla (H.P.) Age 40 Yrs at Service Road near CNG Pump, Sanjay Gandhi Transport Nagar, Karnal By-pass, Delhi and an uncured leopard skin was recovered from his possession which was identified by the Wildlife officials present in the joint raid.
Accused Sher Singh Chauhan disclosed that he had purchased this leopard skin from one of his known person near his village in Himachal Pradesh. Sher Singh Chauhan had come to Delhi from his village 2-3 days back to sell this Leopard skin knowing that the value of the skin was around 5 Lakhs in International market and would fetch a handsome price in Delhi.
INTERROGATION & MODUS OPERANDI
During interrogation, it has been revealed that around 2 months back, accused Sher Singh Chauhan met one of his known person living near his village who told him that he has a Leopard skin to sell and asked him to find an appropriate buyer for the skin. Sher Singh Chauhan offered to purchase the skin and after paying a partial amount, took the leopard skin from the known person. He promised to pay the remaining amount later. He then came to Delhi 2-3 days back and on 21.07.14 in the evening came to Service Road near CNG Pump, Sanjay Gandhi Transport Nagar, Karnal By-pass, Delhi for selling the skin to some appropriate buyer.
