HAPPY NEW YEAR TO BRISBANE THIRSTY HASHERS

The first run for 2018 set by Surge and Next week was well worth attending. A rather subdued lot started arrived early and after about 25 had all arrived they were all busy discussing how each celebrated the New Year.

Rumours were overheard and rumours repeated...Pizza Pithhead and Floater were said to have danced up a storm with Moos Moos and cows or was that cows at MooMoos while others were seen to be quietly

contemplating and reminiscing 2017 and making promises for their 2018 resolutions.

All were amused by the small feral pussy that was jumping around the chairs at the Thai Restaurant.....hope Mum isn't being cooked tonight for our tea.It was then spotted " knocking on Heavens door but the Psycologists door" near to where we had all gathered. As if that wasn't enough pre run excitement .... Two Buddhist Monks arrived to give the New Year Blessing to three of the staff.

THE WALK:

According to the hares Surge and Next Week the run was "flat according to google earth". A pleasant stroll through Huxtable Park with the smell of freshly mown grass sent birds squarking and singing everywhere. Numerous drink stops along the way was enjoyed by Meatlovers who said they were the best. Ryvita and OS were in much discussion about their New Year celebrations while others were seeing arrows and hares popping up everywhere. One hare was "incognito" or thought he was as Surge tried to hide behind a bush wearing sunglasses. The walk took us over Maundrall Tce and another park alongside a storm drain. Sherbert even saw a clown sitting in a tree. The things you see on a walk....Next she will be saying she saw Tarzan as the trees and vines on the Raven Street Reserve were certainly tall enough. The trail master did a great job of dividing the pack so the walkers went on the correct trail on up to "mountains and mangroves corridor" , along Hamilton Rd Backford Rd on home XXXX

THE RUN:

A glowing report was given as there were 100m of Shiggy completely and clearly unmarked. Wagga lost trail but the highlight, causing much excitement in the circle was Shiggy talking about unmarked Shiggy. Shoes getting wet by runners only and run loop too long were the only complaints.

Charges Lilo, our illustrious GM asked if anyone had something to say.

Tinkerbell said something about a pussy falling over and Shiggy kept running. Kimasutra was charged " her cup runneth over" says Thunderballs. She apparently saw a fine specimen standing erect 3cm tall with a knob which happened to be a palm tree with no top.

False charge for myself Twolips who got a phonecall at the planned appropriate time by her betrothed while taking notes for this trash.

RA READING:

"The reading according to Shiggy" was something about "whiskey and Rum" causing madness and on the 13th and 14th time and he couldn't remember getting drunk.

NOSH:

Great Thai food on appropriate purple tablecloths...highly recommended.
