POSITION LOCATION:Northwest Technical College

WORK DAYS & HOURS: Tuesdays 8:30am to 1:30pm

Wednesdays 11:00am to 4:30pm

POSITION PURPOSE:

This position serves as a proctor, primarily for the Pearson Vue testing in the NTC Testing Center. Tests administered include the GED as well as the teacher licensure exams required by the state of Minnesota. Additional tests may be added as needed. This position will also be able to proctor the Accuplacer and any other exams that need proctoring, as time allows.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Provide prompt, courteous and accurate information to customers in person, on the phone, and through e-mail and other written correspondence.
  • Accurately perform intake, assist with forms completion, and develop and maintain good working relationship with customers.
  • Effectively communicate and elicit information with tact and diplomacy in difficult situations.
  • Ability to input data quickly and accurately.
  • Read, explain, and interpret a variety of materials and follow detailed instructions.
  • Ability to compile, research, and analyze information from databases.
  • Gathers and records information needed for proper conduct of state business.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Work experience as a test proctor.
  • An ability to work with people from diverse cultures and populations
