Dean’s Certification:Someschools, programs, companies, andorganizations require applicantstosubmit aDean’s Certification,which verifiesastudent’s records. Fourofficesareinvolved inthecertification processattheUniversityof Georgia.TheOfficeoftheRegistrar reportstheenrollmentverificationandacademicstandingofthestudent,the Vice Presidentfor Instruction reportsanyviolationsoftheUniversity’sacademic honestypolicy,theEqual OpportunityOffice reportsonanyviolations of the Non Discrimination and Anti-Harassment (NDAH)policies,andthe Officeof StudentConductreportsonany violationsofthe Codeof Conductandsanctionsissued. ReturningtotheUniversity:Before you will be eligible for readmission or registration, you must schedule a meeting with the Office of Student Conduct to confirm that you have complied with all sanctions and fulfilled all conditions of your suspension. A student on suspension should refer to their Informal ResolutionAgreementor Formal NoticeofDecisionletter for anyadditional requirementsduringsuspensionandoncetheperiodofsuspension hasended.

Should your suspension (including time away from the University outside of your suspension period) result in your non-enrollment at the University for one year or more, you will be required to apply for readmission to the University. Readmission is not automatic. Readmission will depend on (1) your academic eligibility, (2) your financial good standing with the University, (3) your compliance with all sanctions and fulfillment of all conditions of your suspension, (4) the University’s consideration of any disciplinary or criminal matters other than the conduct on which your suspension was based, and (5) satisfaction of all other requirements for enrollment at the University.
