This fine coffee comes from the shady plantations in the region surrounding the El Triunfo Biosphere Reserve in Chiapas, Mexico, home to the legendary bird Quetzal and to the unique and rare large turkey known as the Pavon. These plantations contribute to the safekeeping of the biodiversity and the river basins.

By buying this certified organic product, you will not only enjoy and appreciate the excellence of the coffee, but you will also be supporting important conservation projects in the reserve. To achieve this, a portion of our wholesale price is being donated to the El Triunfo Conservation Fund.

Characteristics of a cup of Jalima Certified Organic coffee: The body of this coffee is well-rounded. It has an intriguing complex aroma that, combined with its sweet taste and clean finish, lingers and creates a desire for more. Jalima Organic is assertive at first, with nut and spice overtones.

H & A Gourmet Coffee comes from Ixhuatlan, a unique region in the high altitude mountains of the central part of Veracruz, Mexico. This region is comprised of magnificent sceneries such as cloud forests, rivers, streams and woods with luscious and exotic vegetation and fruits. In this magical place, at the foothills of the majestic Volcano “Citlaltepetl”, the fruits of our coffee bloom, thus creating an exclusive and unique type of Arabica coffee.

The name H & A is in honor of Honorio Sanchez and Aquiles Villalobos, who are the only two Mexicans included in the select international group of people certified as tasters by the Coffee Exchange in New York. With over thirty years of experience, Honorio and Aquiles offer you this specialty coffee, hand picked from the tree at the peak time of the coffee season using only the best fruits of the Arabica variety. The H&A red coffee cherry is milled through an artisanal process that ensures the social and ecological mission of sustainability and preservation of our environment.

Characteristics of an H & A cup of coffee: Because of its delicate texture and aroma, it is considered a Gourmet type of coffee. Its body is light and has a fine and accentuated acidity. H & A coffee is extremely aromatic and carries a smooth citrus fragrance.
