HOAX CALLER IMPOSTER ARRESTED
The staff of Special Team, Crime Branch, Prashant Vihar, Delhi has arrested one Joginder Singh Sandhu @ Jasveer s/o Mahender Singh r/o Vill. Zazza Khurd, Tehsil Phillaur Disst Jallandar Punjab. Present Add Near Shiv Mandir Vill. Prahlad Pur Delhi, Age-33 Years, who has duped petty amount from many persons on the pretext of getting them BPL, Election cards or Badges of the Auto/Taxi drivers. His interrogation revealed that he has made more than 50 false hoax calls to PCR since Jan 2013.
INCIDENT
An information was received that one person namely Joginder Singh Sandhu, who has cheated many persons including auto & taxi drivers etc on the pretext of facilitating them BPL, procuring Election cards or Badges of the Auto/Taxi drivers and is fond of making hoax calls will come near the office of the Registrar Pitampura Delhi.
A police team comprising of SI Prabhanshu, HC Shailender, HC. Satish and Ct. Ravinder was formed under the leadership of Inspr. Anand Singh and under the supervision of ACP/Special Team, Sh. M.C. Katoch and over all supervision of Sh. Kumar Gyanesh, Addl. DCP/CR to apprehend the accused Joginder Singh Sandhu. The efforts put in by the police team yielded result and the Joginder Singh Sandhu @ Jasveer was arrested on 10.02.13 from near the registrar office Pitam Pura, Delhi at 6.30 P.M.
PROFILE OF THE CRIMINAL:
The interrogation of accused Joginder Singh Sandhu revealed that he is a native of Punjab, a habitual drunkard and a graduate from Sikh National College Banga, Distt Nawa-Sahar Punjab. He came to Delhi in the year 2002. He started working in School/Banquet halls as security supervisor. In the year 2009 he sold his share of land in Punjab and bought a 25 yard built up house in Sant Nagar Burari Delhi and brought his family to Delhi. He kept doing the odd jobs in factories, security agencies but did not earn much, To make more money, he started demanding money from the people in the area on the pretext of getting them BPL, Election cards or Badges of the Auto/Taxi drivers procured. When people came to know about his tactics, they started pressurizing him for their money. He sold out his house in 2011. His wife took the entire amount with her and started living separately. Thereafter he married one Rakhi in March-2011 (name changed) and went to his native place in Punjab. The father of Rakhi got registered a case regd.vide FIR No 108/11 u/s 363 IPC PS Burari against him. He returned to Delhi in August 2011 along with his wife. Joginder Singh was arrested in another criminal case reported vide FIR No. 99/12 u/s 457/380 IPC at P.S. Burari Delhi. He remained in judicial Custody from April-2012 to Dec-2012. Later, he started having frequent fights with his wife. He suspected his wife that she is in a relation with a person, who is living in Mumbai. In January-2013 Rakhi left him. He tried to meet with her but she ignored him. To harass Rakhi, he made a call to PCR on 28/1/13 that one women having my mobile number is an associate of Afzal Guru and that there will be bomb blasts at three places in Delhi. Again on 29/1/13 he made another call to PCR and said that he is an IPS S S Chauhan and a bomb blast will take place between 2.30 P.M - 3.30 P.M. at Tihar jail, Connaught Place and Barakhamba Road and said that Rakhi is the master mind of these blasts. On 8/2/13 he made a call to Mumbai Police control room and said that he is IPS SS Chauhan and gave them a mobile number (friend of rakhi) and told them that this person is planning to plant a bomb at Kurla railway station.
It is further revealed that in the month of January-2013, he had gone to St. Stephen Hospital, where he heard a conversation between some persons requiring blood donation. He became friendly with one of them Bijender and donated blood for their patient. After that he started visiting Bijender’s house and took Rs 15000/- from Bijender for making five BPL cards and after that he ignored Bijender’s calls and threatened him and made bogus PCR calls to harass him.
A case FIR No. 37/13 u/s 420 IPC PS Mahendra Park Delhi, was got registered by Bijender in this regard.
At the time of his arrest, five mobile phones were recovered from his possession. Initial interrogation has revealed that these are stolen mobiles which he had taken from various auto rickshaw drivers on the pickets of making a call. From the interrogation of the accused it has been revealed that he has made more than 50 bogus/hoax PCR calls since January-2013.
Further verification of his call records is being carried out.

A team of the Crime Branch led by Inspr. Sukhwinder Singh consisting of SI Sanjiv Kumar, ASI Pawan Kumar, Ct. Pawan Kumar and Ct. Rambeer Singh under the supervision of ACP Sh. Hoshiar Singh and overall supervision of Addl. DCP Bhisham Singh has apprehended one person involved in trafficking of cocaine/drugs and recovered 20 Gms of fine quality Cocaine. The Cocaine recovered is worth Rs. 20 lakhs (approximately) in the International Market.
An information was received on 09/02/2013 by SI Sanjiv Kumar of Anti Robbery Cell that a person namely Emmanuel Nwankwo @ Obina Anaebo residing somewhere in Mohan Garden, Delhi and from Nigeria is indulging in supply of Cocaine/drugs in Delhi and would be coming near Chhatrasal Stadium Model Town, Delhi to deliver a consignment of Cocaine to someone. A trap was laid around Chhatrasal Stadium, Model Town, Delhi and the team swung into action and apprehended one person namely Emmanuel @ Obina, aged 40 years S/o Nwanko @ Anaebo R/o 5, Upper Iweka, Omoudi, Nigeria. On his personal search, 20 grams of fine quality Cocaine was recovered from his possession. A case vide FIR No. 22 dated 09.02.2013 U/s 21 of NDPS Act has been registered at PS Crime Branch Delhi.
Emmanuel @ Obina S/o Nwanko @ Anaebo R/o 5, Upper Iweka, Omoudi, Nigeria and present address: K 1/107 Mohan Garden, Delhi, aged 40 years was subjected to intensive interrogation. During interrogation he has revealed that his father runs a cloth shop in Nigeria. He studied up to secondary school at his native place. Emmanuel @ Obina dropped out due to poor financial condition of the family. He came to Mumbai, India first time in October 2008 on double entry, Business Visa. Emmanuel @ Obina wanted to start garment/textile business from India. Throughout the month of November, he stayed in Mumbai at Mohammad Ali Road. In December, 2008 he came to Delhi. During his stay in Delhi, Emmanuel met with one Dalis a fellow Nigerian in a social gathering. Dalis lured him into supply of Cocaine. His VISA has already expired and therefore appropriate action under Foreigners Act is also taken being against him. They used to meet around Model Town, Rajouri Garden where Dalis used to give him the Cocaine. Emmanuel used to call his clients around Vishal Cinema or nearby Malls to supply Cocaine to them. He was found in possession of 20 Grams of Cocaine.
Further investigation of the case is in progress.

ONE SNATCHER ARRESTED RED HANDED WITH THE HELP OF PUBLIC
The staff of PS Ashok Vihar, North West District has nabbed one snatcher namely Ashish George red handed for snatching a purse with the help of public. One stolen motor cycle Bajaj Pulsar has been seized from his possession.
INCIDENT:
On 9.2.13 at 5 PM one snatching incident took place at KC Goel Road opposite KD Block, Ashok Vihar Delhi. The victim Ms. Harmeet Kaur resident of Parmanant Colony raised an alarm alerting the public and the police staff present in the area. After a chase, HC Ashok Kumar and Ct. Sarnam Singh while on patrolling apprehended the snatcher with the help of public. On personal search, the snatched purse was recovered from his possession. He came out to be one Ashish George s/o Sanjay George r/o 265, DA flats Phase-IV, Ashok Vihar, Delhi. Accordingly, a case FIR No. 45/13 u/s 356/379/411 IPC PS Ashok Vihar was registered and he was duly arrested.
INTERROGATION:
During interrogation, it revealed that accused is residing in Delhi Administration flats, Phase-IV, Ashok Vihar, Delhi. He was a school dropout and drug addict. He started committing crimes to meet his expenses. Prior to this, he was arrested in 6 cases of robbery, snatching and thefts. He is a History Sheeter of PS Bharat Nagar. On 6.2.13, he had stolen a Bajaj Pulsar motor cycle used in this crime from railway colony Phase-III, Ashok Vihar, Delhi to use the same to commit snatchings.

Whereas conditions exist in which unrestricted carrying of Fire Arms (including licensed fire arms) in Barat and any procession is likely to cause danger to public peace and public safety in the union territory of Delhi.
2. And whereas I have reasons to believe that circumstances exists where carrying of concealed fire arms/weapon in Barat/ procession is likely to cause danger to human life, safety, disturbance to public tranquility or a riot.
3. Now, therefore, in exercise of the power conferred upon me by the virtue of section 144 Cr. P.C. 1973 (No.2 of 1974) read with Govt. of India, Ministry of Home Affairs, New Delhi,s Notification No. U-11036/1/2010-UTL, dated 09.09.2010, I, Ved Prakash Surya, Asstt. Commissioner of Police, Sub-Div. Seema Puri, North East District, do hereby make this written order , prohibit the any person (excluding person in service or employee of the Govt. required by his superiors or by the nature of his duties to carry weapon or unless exempted by me or any one other authorized by me in this behalf)
A) From carrying of fire arms (including licensed fire arms) or any other article which is capable of being used for causing physical violence.
4. This order shall come into force with effect from 10.02.2013 and shall remain in force for a period of 60 days i.e. up to 10.04.2013 (both days inclusive) unless withdrawn earlier.
5. Any person contravening this order shall be liable to be punished in accordance with the provision of clauses (a) of Sub Section (2) of section 113 of Delhi Police Act 1978 (34 of 1978) which provides punishment or imprisonment for a term which shall not be less than four months but which may extend to one year and shall also be liable to fine.
6. As the notice cannot be served individually on all concerned, the order is passed ex-parte. It shall be published for the information of the public through the press and by affixing copies on the Notice Board of the offices of all Districts, Police Stations concerned and the offices of the MCD, NDMC, PWD, DDA, DMs, FC, Tehsildar etc.

Whereas report have been received that Pan cigarette and aerated drinks shop are kept open till late in the night and the same attract gathering of person who cause annoyance to the neighborhood and indulge in quarrel having the potential of escalating into riotous situation and also disturb public tranquility and endanger human life in the Jurisdiction of Sub Division Seema Puri, Delhi.
2. And whereas to prevent annoyance to public, danger to human life and disturbance to public tranquility, it is necessary to take speedy measures to prevent the forming of such gathering of persons in the late hours of the night.
3. Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred upon me by the virtue of section 144 Cr. P.C. 1973 (No.2 of 1974) read with Govt. of India, Ministry of Home Affairs, and Notification No. U-11036-UTL, dated 09.09.2010, I, Ved Prakash Surya, Asstt. Commissioner of Police, Sub-Div. Seema Puri, North East District, Delhi do hereby make this written order, prohibit pan cigarette and aerated drinks-shop being kept open after 01.00 AM in the jurisdiction of Sub-Division Seema Puri, Delhi.
4. This order shall come into force with effect from 29.01.13 shall effective for a period of 60 days up to 29.03.2013 (both days inclusive) unless withdrawn earlier.
5. Any person contravening this order shall be punished in accordance with the provision of section 188 of the Indian Penal Code: and
6. As the notice cannot be served individually on all concerned, the order is hereby passed ex-parte. It shall be published for the information of the public through the press and by affixing copies of the notice boards of the offices of District DCsP, Addl. DCsP, ACsP, Tehsil Offices, all Police Stations concerned and the offices of the MCD/NDMC.
