07 / The road in front of K.V. Sikh Lines, Meerut Cantt needs immediate repair and widening up-to the Vidyalaya Boundary Wall for safety of the student. The matter has been taken up with GE (N) and CWE but the work is still pending. / Assurance has been received from CWE, Meerut Cantt to start the said work from third week of March – 2013. But the work still pending.

MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF VIDYALAYA MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE (VMC)
Meeting of the Vidyalaya Management Committee (VMC) of K.V. Sikh Lines, Meerut Cantt was held on 15.05.2013from 10 am in the Principal Chamber. Following members were present in the meeting.

Mrs. Alka Gupta, Principal KV SL, Meerut Cantt, welcomed the Chairman VMC
and introduced the other members of the Committee.
Brig S.K. Prasad, Commander, 9, Arty Brigade and Chairman presided over the
meeting. The agenda points were discussed in detail.
Follow-up of minutes of previous meeting: The Principal presented action taken report on Minutes of the VMC meeting held on 02.02.2013. The members of VMC expressed their satisfaction and gave suggestions to expedite the pending work.
Approval of VVN Budget:
The VMC approved the tentative VVN Budget for the session 2013-2014

Condemnation of Old Stock of various departments:
VMC approved the condemnation of Old stocks upto Rs.2,00,000/- within its power and recommended the list of other condemned articles for Deputy Commissioner and Commissioners power respectively.
Recommendation for purchase of 02 new Generators:
VMC approved the purchase 02 Generators of 30 KVA each for Primary and Secondary section after seeking approval from KVS.
Purchase of Computers for 08 e-class rooms:
VMC accorded its approval for purchase of 08 Computers of e-class rooms at DGS&D rates.
Purchase of UPS for 09 e-class rooms:
VMC accorded its approval for purchase of 08 UPS of e-class rooms and 01 UPS for Computer room.
M&R of students and Staff toilets:
VMC accorded its approval for M&R of students and Staff toilets after taking estimates from MES and other Govt. agencies.
Provision of Dust-bin in Class rooms, Departments and toilets:
VMC accorded its approval for purchase of Dust-bins in Class rooms, Departments, toilets and compound.
Development of Children park as per the direction of KVS:
The development of Children Park has been approved as per KVS purchase procedure.
White wash/Color wash, painting of Building (exterior & interior):
The White wash/Color wash, painting of Building (exterior & interior) has been approved after taking estimates from MES and other Govt. agencies.
Installation of Grill in 1st floor of Primary section:
Grill on the 1st floor of Primary section is required for safety and security of the students. The VMC approved its installation as per KVS purchase procedure.
Landscaping and Arboriculture:
Landscaping and Arboriculture is required to give aesthetic look to the Vidyalaya. VMC approved the work.

Repair of Road in front of Building:
Assurance has been received from CWE, Meerut Cantt to start the said work from third week of March – 2013 but the work is still pending. The Chairman suggested approaching the CWE and GE (North) once again to expedite the work.
Approval for purchase of articles at previous year Quotations till new quotations/tenders are called:
The VMC approved for purchase of articles at previous year Quotations till new quotations/tenders are called up-to 30th June – 2013.
Pending work of previous year (purchase of Air-Conditioners, Fire Extinguishers, CCTV Camera & Central PA system:
The VMC accorded its approval for floating fresh tenders for pending work of previous session.
