Review of PIP submission Activities I – VIII / ·  New programs are only required to submit Activities I- V. Next year will submit sections I-VIII. Existing programs will complete Activities I-VIII this year and I-IX next year.
·  Submission should be written as if person reviewing the PIP has no knowledge about the plan or collaborative methodology.
·  Activity I – Include historical plan-specific data. / FYI
ACHA will review definitions for the numerator and denominator and give feedback to the SIPP’s / All SIPP’s / Completed-11/15/10
Review of PIP submission Activities I – VIII
(continued) / ·  Activity II and III provided (Activity III – Numerator and Denominator will be reviewed by ACHA, they are not consistent, one is monthly and the other is yearly) Update with new definitions.
·  Section IV – Be specific about population definition. Discuss inclusion or exclusion of members with special health care needs. Discuss enrollment requirements, including length of enrollment.
·  Section VI - Be very specific; include all information related to data elements, calculation of study indicators, etc.
·  Section VII – What process did you use to identify interventions? Identify specific barriers the interventions are to address.
·  Section VIII – Will have baseline data, this section will be brief. Compare to internal goals if applicable. Discuss how future measurement period data will be analyzed.
·  Section IX – Label study indicator; add baseline data to table; and define measurement periods.
