CM inaugurates VIA Expo-2016 in Vapi

Vijay Rupani calls for global industrial development
along with environmental conservation
Gandhinagar, Wednesday: Gujarat Chief Minister Mr. Vijay Rupani inaugurated Expo-2016 as a part of Pre-Vibrant Summit in Vapi. The expo has been organized by Vapi Industries Association (VIA). He expressed his faith that this pre-vibrant summit will add a new chapter in reputation of industrial city as Vapi. He briefed about the forthcoming Vibrant Summit-2017 which will be organized during January-2017 at Gandhinagar and said that as many as 12 countries and more than 200 foreign delegates will participate in the eighth edition of the summit.
Mr. Rupani called for global industrial development along with enduring responsibilities towards environmental conservation. In this regard he clearly said that Gujarat has created unique identity along with green-clean state and as a growth engine through industrial progress.
With pro-active approach State Government has created an opportunity to attract more and more industries in Gujarat by announcing as many as 18 industrial promotional policies and aerospace defense policies, he added.
Gujarat has also took and unique initiative with a vision of development by Make in India, Digital India, Startup India initiated by PM Mr. Narendra Modi. He expressed hope that Gujarat will become a partner through brand image of Make in Gujarat and Indian products to be exported worldwide.
Cheques worth Rs. 5 lakh in Kanya Kelavani Nidhi by Vapi VIA and a cheque of worth Rs. 5 lakh for Swachhta Nidhi by Green Enviro industries were handed-over to Mr. Rupani.
Vapi MLA Mr. Kanubhai Desai, President of VIA Vapi Mr. Yogeshbhai Kabaria and Vice President of VIA Mr. Hitubhai Thakker gave occasional speeches.
On the occasion, Valsad MP Dr. K. C. Patel, District Panchayat President Mr. Jitendrabhai Tandel, Pardi MLA Mr. Kanubhai Desai, Valsad MLA Mr. Bharatbhai Patel, District Collector Ms. Remya Mohan, DDO Mr. Gaurang Makwana, Pardi Municipal Corporation President Mrs. Tinaben Halpati, advisory committee members of VIA, Industrialists and local people in a huge number were remained present.

CM dedicates Sports Complex and Town Hall at Pardi

Vijay Rupani lays foundation stone to renovate
Laxmi Udyan, lake and fort of Shivaji Maharaj
Gandhinagar, Wednesday: Gujarat Chief Minister Mr. Vijay Rupani today dedicated Bharat Ratna Morarjibhai Desai Auditorium and Swami Vivekanand Sports Complex in Pardi. The auditorium has been built with a cost of Rs. 548 lakh and the sports complex has been constructed with a cost of Rs. 160 lakh. Along with the function Mr. Rupani also laid foundation stone of four projects such as Laxmi Udyan to be built with a cost of Rs. 45.66 lakh, renovation of historic fort with a cost of Rs. 97.49 lakh, beautification of lake with a cost of Rs. 308.57 lakh and LED light works worth Rs. 67.97 lakh.
Mr. Rupani was welcomed at Pardi with memento along with skill exhibition made by players of sports complex. He praised the city development approach made by local nagarsevaks and administrative officials and congratulated them for their efforts to renovate historic fort and to give unique identity to Pardi with combination of saturate, literature, art and culture.
On the occasion MP Dr. K. C. Patel, President of Valsad District PAnchayat Mr. Jitendra Tandel, MLAs Mr. Kanubhai Desai, Mr. Bharatbhai Patel, office-bearers, district collector along with officials and local people were remained present.

CM Declares “Gaurav Path” of Vapi as cashless enabled street

Gujarat’s Vapi takes initiative into Digital India e-banking cashless India
Gandhinagar, Wednesday: Gujarat Chief Minister Mr. Vijay Rupani today declared “Gaurav Path” of Vapi in South Gujarat as first cashless enabled street of Gujarat State. He said that since our Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi has initiated cashless economy, Vapi of Gujarat has also joined the campaign with its “Cashless enabled Street”.
While inaugurating Vapi Industries Association-VIA Vibrant Expo-2016, Mr. Rupani made this declaration. He declared Gaurav Path, from Statue of Mahatma Gandhi to National Highwat 8, Koparli road as cashless and felicitated tea and nasta vendor as a person driving cashless transaction. He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi, country is changing and ordinary man is also diverting towards cashless economy.
Mr. Rupani said that since small vender to Jewelers have joined hands with Cashless campaign for realizing the Digital India Dream of Prime Minister, and Vapi has become a direction indicator for making India world power.
