Spirit Elite Bathroom Tissue Launch
Saturday, September 30, 2006
Hello and welcome to MALCOLM EATON Enterprises. For those of you who don’t know me, I am Tom Klemm, Chairman of the Board of Directors. On behalf of the entire organization, I thank you for joining us today to celebrate two major milestones: our 40th anniversary and the expansion of one of our most successful product lines.
Indeed, we have many reasons to feel gratified today.Perhaps the biggest reason is the unflinching support we receive from our community and our staff. Support from “internal” people like…
- Tim Cook, Director of Manufacturing
- Julie Hilliger, Director of Communications & Marketing for Spirit
- Spirit Sales Coordinator, Jim Wilkinson
- Harold Anderson, our Director of Finance for Spirit
- And Patsy Cook, Director of Community Services for MALCOLM EATON Enterprises.
As well as support from local dignitaries who have joined us today, like…
- State Representative Jim Sacia
- John Blum, Chairman of the StephensonCounty Board
- Kim Grimes, Executive Director of the Freeport Chamber of Commerce
- And Store Manager Kurt Steffen, representing Cub Foods in Freeport
Kim, would you like to say a few words today on behalf of the Freeport Chamber of Commerce?

We’ve enjoyed sharing our spirit with you this morning. Thank you again for joining us!
We hope you’ll stay awhile longer to help celebrate our 40th anniversary. Join us now for tours, for lunch at 11:00, and for a special anniversary celebration at 1:00, along with a look at what may be included in our anniversary time capsule.
