NOMINEE FOR THE OFFICE OF PRESIDENT-ELECT…
--shall be a member in good standing of ACTE, their respective state association, and NATFACS and plan toattend the upcoming ACTE/NATFACS Convention in the host city and will help with registration.
--shall attend the following meetings each year they hold responsibilities:
- ACTE Convention—Nov/Dec—5-6 days
- NATFACS Policy & Planning Meeting—Mar—2-3 days
If elected to the position of President-Elect of NATFACS, I will become thoroughly acquainted with theorganization and its procedures during the year and thus be ready to take over the duties of President in thefollowing year.
Some of the responsibilities of the President-Elect are:
- Plan and conduct Policy & Planning Meeting
- Work with the Executive Board to develop a Strategic Plan
- Develop and produce the NATFACS Handbook/electronic file
- Plan and conduct the State Contacts meeting at conference
- Prepare Conference Evaluation Form
- Prepare an annual report to the membership
- Appoint all Committee Chairs and members and advise them of their duties during the interim period prior to becoming President
- Becoming thoroughly acquainted with the Association while working closely with the President
- Preside at meetings of the Association in the absence of the President
As President, I will carry out to the best of my ability, the President’s responsibilities, which are:
- Preside over all meetings of the Association and perform the usual duties of an executive officer.
- Serve as ex-officio member of all committee.
- Keep State Consultant informed of all proceedings.
- Work with the FACS VP to develop the FACS program for the conference.
- Prepare the program booklet for convention packet.
- Preside over the Business Meeting.
- Make an annual report to the membership
- Act as the official representative of NATFACS.
The Executive Board request that no campaigning to be done prior to or during the ACTE/NATFACSConvention.
