General Background

Ecclesall Infant School is a two form entry school admitting boys and girls aged 4 to 7 from a predominately white British and socially and economically advantaged suburb of south west Sheffield.

We are a lively and creative school with a tradition of innovation. Enrichment and creativity are our passions. Weachieve our success because we understand that to improve we must constantly change and evolve. We are very proud of our school and were delighted to have our success recognised in the last Ofsted report (October 2007) in which the school was judged to be “Outstanding” in all areas.

We work in very close partnership with parents and achieved the Leading Parent Partnership Award which demonstrates our excellent communication with parents.

Our motto is “Happy children, Happy school” and all staff, children, parents and governors share this whole school vision. We are always thinking ahead of the game and looking for ways to improve the school further. 2010 is a very exciting time for EcclesallInfant School with a fresh, new approach.
