  1. Start interview with a brief introduction (one well organized paragraph, 8 – 10 sentences), introducing the subject of the biography / autobiography. (10 points)
  1. Prepare to interview the subject of your biography by coming up with six to eightmeaningful, thought provoking questions. The questions should concentrate on this person’s goals, accomplishments, opinions on issues that they care about, important people in his/her life, personal influences, etc… points. ***The questions should NOT be simple yes / no, factual questions. They should lead the interviewee to give an interesting, detailed answer that says a lot about his/her character.

Following each question,put yourself in this person’s place and answer the questions the way he/she would answer them – your answers should be detailed and informative.***Remember that these answers are not guesses on your part and should be based on the information you gathered from reading the biography / autobiography based on this person’s life. (70 points)

  1. FORMATTING: Each question should be followed by the answer – DO NOT put questions and answers on different pages. Format the script of the interview according to the notes you took in class. (15 points)

OPTIONAL EXTRA CREDIT PROJECT:

Earn up to 20 points by creating a video - (to be completed by Friday, February 20)

Prepare a video version of your written interview, which you must share with your classmates.

You MUST give me at least a three-day WRITTEN notice. In the note, let me know exactly what day you will be presenting your interview and approximately how many minutes of class time you will need. Do not bring in your extra credit project last minute and expect me to make time for it.

Your video should be clearly audible and ready to be played on either a DVD or a flash drive. Please make sure that it works before you bring it to class.
