GRAND BEND - Fall into Broadwaythis September!Businesses in Grand Bend and area, through the support of the Government of Ontario’s Regional Tourism Organization 1(Southwest Ontario) and 4 (Huron-Perth-Waterloo-Wellington) are partnering on a new campaign designed to extend the peak tourism season in Huron County.

More than just beaches and bars, this community-driven initiative has created the opportunity for the bustling destination to expand on its reputation as a summer hot spot and allow visitors to explore all the area has to offer in the fall.

Fall into Broadway is anchored by an extension of the 2018 theatre season at the Huron Country Playhouse for a special show that is sure to give audiences a reason to celebrate. Check in for the biggest holiday party of the year as the new Irving Berlin musical Holiday Inn makes its triumphant Canadian premiere at the beloved professional theatre in Grand Bendfrom September 13 to 30.

Based on the beloved 1942 Bing Crosby and Fred Astaire film, this grand scale musicalfeatures twenty iconic songs from Irving Berlin’s phenomenal musical catalogue including “Blue Skies,” “Cheek to Cheek,” “Steppin’ Out With My Baby,” “Easter Parade,” and many more. Don’t be fooled – this lavish musical comedy is not just about the traditional “holiday season” – it spans a full year of celebrations from Thanksgiving and Christmas to Valentine’s Day, Easter and more.

About Huron Country Playhouse

Launched in 1972, the Huron Country Playhouse is a 13-week professional summer theatre festival taking place in the Municipality of South Huron from June 7, 2018 to Sept 2, 2018.
