All students must successfully audition in order to major in Music Studies. Students may declare themselves music majors only if their names appear on the Music division’s list of successfully auditioned students.
The THEA exemptions for admission to UTSA are different from those for Teacher Certification. A student may be exempt from THEA for admission to UTSA based on some things not acceptable to the Teacher Certification program. See a COEHD advisor for details.
