COMPLETE SS to liaise with Jonathon Barker re: homeless people on the station UPDATE – PCSO Digby has spoken with Jonathon Barker. JB needs to meet with Network Rail and plan how to divert the homeless people to safer-accommodation and to get help. / Steve Smith / 03.07.12

6.1 SS said Shopwatch radios are available for all retailers at both Kings Cross and St. Pancras.

6.2 Shane Bailey raised the issue about the lack of BTP visibility at St. Pancras

6.3 Hammad Syed spoke about theft issues at M&S during the early morning

ACTION SS to liaise with Hammad Syed about maybe setting up an early-morning theft operation.

6.4 PC Warren spoke about the Met Police targeting taxi-touts at Eurostar departures – 2 males arrested.

6.5 Shane Bailey said 3 retail units failed in the latest Welfare Quill check. If further fails, those retailers will be shutdown until they can prove they can follow security procedures.

6.6 During the Games, station staff will have priority to use the public station toilets before passengers.

6.7 BTP thanked the Peter Alderin and the Champayne bar for giving a prize for the latest BTP raffle.

6.8 PC Warren explained the need for targeting taxi-touts. Some taxi-touts have caused sexual assaults and rapes – one male taxi-tout arrested was carrying a number of condoms and has his DNA taken.

ACTION Alwyn to find out about putting signage up about the taxi-touts at the station.

6.9 SS and PC Warren spoke about the potential for disruptions at the station during the Olympic Games.
