POSITION LOCATION:BSU Decker Hall 202, Career Services
WORK DAYS & HOURS: 8:00 am-4:30 pm Monday-Friday academic year, 7:30 am-4:00 pm summer
APPOINTMENT: Unlimited/Full-Time
POSITION PURPOSE
- Oversee all duties of office manager and recruitment coordinator including budget and purchasing
- Complete theMState Mandated Annual Graduate Follow-up Studies for both BSU and NTC.
- Coordinate recruitment activities and assist with connecting students and employers to Connect2Careers.
- Update and coordinate all technologies with office including updating Connect2Careers, website update and management, digital signage and social media marketing.
- Assist with hiring, training and providing lead work to students in Student Success Center which includes; Career Services, Advising Success Center and Disability Services.
- Serve as a backup to CEL and Disabilities Testing.
- Ability to work in a team environment and provide support in all areas needed. Flexibility and the ability to handle multiple tasks is essential.
- Manage career events which includes scheduling, marketing and registration.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Customer Services skills sufficient to provide prompt, courteous and accurate information to customers (including students, employers, fac/staff/administrators and community members) in person, one the phone and through e-mail and other written correspondence.
- Technical skills in various platforms such as ISRS, WordPress, EMS Scheduling, Social Media and CRM’s.
- Excellent data entry and word processing skills
- Experience entering data into established spreadsheets and generating routine reports.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge and experience with ISRS, WordPress, CRM’s and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Accounting or bookkeeping experience with skills sufficient to create documents for billing, collection and deposit information.
- Experience in similar administrative support positions.
- Experience working with a diverse population.
PHYSICAL FACTORS:
Constant: Must maintain excellent rapport and flexibility with directors and all staff within the Student Success Center.
Frequent: Communication with students, employers, fac/staff/administration.
Occasional:May need to flex hours for programs throughout the year such as Career Fairs, Community Appreciation Day and Sunsplash etc.
