Position: Supply Chain Administrator
Posting Date:May 24, 2017Position will be posted for a minimum of two weeks.
Position Description:The Supply Chain Administrator will be an integral part of a team environment supporting sales and operations by ensuring the seamless processing of all new order inventory returns, managing the demo process and Industrial Equipment inventory management. An excellent candidate will understand the impact of this position on other business functions that depend on the accuracy and efficiency of the inventory management processes. This position requires strict adherence to AbeTech and vendor return guidelines and timelines.
Primary Responsibilities:
New Order RMAs:
- Review and approve RMAs daily, including client communications and working with the vendors to return or replace product
- Verify inventory reporting both incoming and out going
- Make inventory adjustments
Demo Product Administration
- Maintain AbeTech Demo Kit inventory
- Assist the sales department with demo sourcing
- Facilitate all demo requests
- Purchase, confirm and manage the return of all demo orders
- Facilitate RMA for custom demo items that are not part of our demo inventory
- Review demo report weekly:
- Investigate past due items
- Update demo including dates, ensuring they are all current
- Communicate status of demo equipment with the Account Executives and Client Care
- Update demo notes when appropriate, communicating status to appropriate departments or partners
- Understand when to troubleshoot or escalate, follow through to resolution
- Prepare and maintain demo process work instructions
Industrial Equipment (IE) Inventory Control and Organization
- Establish procedures and work instructions for inventory management and cycle counting of IE inventory
- Work closely with IE Services team for supplies and client order inventory needs
- Perform monthly cycle counts on IE and make inventory adjustments as needed
Required Skills and Education:
- High school diploma. Post high school education considered a bonus
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proven ability to handle multiple responsibilities and prioritize work while paying attention to deadlines
- One year in a client facing and business to business role
- Experience in the Microsoft Office Suite preferred
