The aim of RAAD Workshop is to bring together researchers and product people working in Robotics in countries

of the Alpe-Adria-Danube Region to discuss and exchange ideas on research results and industrial robot applications.

The Workshop will be held at the Hotel Santon in Brno.

PAPER ELECTRONIC SUBMISSION

The organising Committee invites authors and participants to submit paper title and abstract (max. 30 typewritten lines, in English language), not later than January 16th, 2004, addressed to:

Notification of the acceptance will be mailed by February 20th, 2004. Final paper should send by e-mail before March 27th, 2004.

Only papers, whose at least one author will be registered, will be included in the proceedings.

CONFERENCE FEE

Participants: - Euro 300 (before March 27th, 2004)

- Euro 350 (after March 27th, 2004)

Students and accompanying persons: Euro 150

The conference fee includes: the complete program of the RAAD04 Workshop, conference proceedings copy and accompanying materials, admission to all session and presentations, welcome drink, refreshments, culture program and trips.

PRESENTATION AND PROCEEDINGS

The official language of the Symposium will be English. There will be two types of presentation: oral presentation or poster session. The speakers will present their contribution in 15 min. Further 5 min are available for discussion. Slide and overhead projectors, data projectors, and VHS video system are available for presentation.

The Conference will be including exposition and presentation of the firms.

ACCOMMODATION PLACE of WORKSHOP

Accommodation is booked in hotel Santon. The hotel is situated in the beautiful natural environment of the Brno Reservoir, only 20 minutes by the tram from the centre of town. Rates per person and night with breakfast and lunch: 50 Euro.

In the three-star class, the Santon hotel offers very good accommodation quality. All rooms are equipped with personal facilities (a bathroom with bathtub and toilet), a telephone with a direct line, a television. All rooms include a loggia with a view of the beautiful natural landscape.

The second largest city in the Czech Republic – 400 000 inhabitants – is the historical, cultural, industrial, economical, exhibition, business and administration centre. Brno has traditionally been a centre of education, and is among the cities with the highest concentration of school and research institutions. It is the seat of 6 universities, the oldest of which are the Brno University of Technology and the Masaryk University.

Brno is the seat of The Supreme Court of the Czech Republic, the Highest Prosecuting Counsels of the Czech Republic, and also a number of museums, theatres and other cultural institutions.

The city is within easy reach of international airports in Prague and Vienna and there is direct bus and railway connection with many European cities. Brno is the city of greenery, surrounded by romantic countryside.
