Principal’s Message

With the appearance of spring, I have two requests to makerelated to your child’s comfort and safety:

1. Please make sure your child is dressed appropriately. If he/she dresses in layers the sweaters, sweatshirts, jackets or long sleeved shirts that are needed to stay warm in the mornings can be removed so students can be comfortable in the afternoon. In addition,flip-flops are not acceptable shoes for school. Students need to wear shoes that stay on their feet when they are running and playing.

2. Please do not allow your children to come to school before7:30or to stay after3:00to play on the playground. There are no staff members to supervise students at these times.

Thank you for your support!

-Kelly Stahl, Principal

Grades 6-8 are eligible if your residence is more than two miles from Tiffin Middle School.

Kindergarten Music Program

Thank you to the Kindergarten students for the WONDERFUL music programs this past month. I could tell by the smiles and applause the parents loved it and I received many compliments!

Pennies for

Patients

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Pennies for Patients program is a service-learning program that saves lives. Students helped to "Make Change - Beat Cancer" by raising money for a cure!

This year students brought their spare change to school and pooled it with their classmates. Washington students raised $1,075.19to support local patient programs and blood cancer research. Mrs. Hepp’s first grade class brought in the most and won a pizza party. Great job Washington!

Limo Ride

Eleven students sold enough cookie dough to enjoy a ride in Limousine
