2154 – Pesticide-use training and certification.

2154.2 – Certification. There will be at least one person certified to use or supervise the application of pesticides on each land base (Chequamegon and Nicolet). Certification must be in the pesticide applicator category for which the pesticide is to be used. Certification can be achieved through the Forest Service or the State of Wisconsin.

In addition, there will be a pesticide-use coordinator at each district and the SO. The coordinator does not necessarily need to be certified, but it is desirable. The pesticide-use coordinators are listed below.
