36 police officers promoted to next grade

ISLAMABAD, Sep 28: On the recommendations of Departmental Promotion Committee Inspector General Police Muhammad Khalid Khattak had approved to promote 36 officers to next grade.

The officers promoted next grade included, 8 inspectors,15 sub-inspectors, 13 Assistant-sub-Inspectors. A ceremony to pin the badges to these police officials was held at police headquarter on Thursday.Muhammad Khalid Khattak was the chief guest of the event. The sub-inspector promoted to inspector included, Naiz Hussain, AnisAlbar, Ch. Zulfiqar, Shaukat Ali, Abdul JabbarKhan,QaziRabnawaz, Amjid Farooq, and from MT staff AzharMehmood. The officers promoted from ASI to Sub-inspector included, AshiqMuhammd, Muhammad Akram Muhammad Mushtaq, Shahbaz Ahmed, Akhtar Nawaz,Sajid Hussain, Muhammad Sarwar, MazharMehmood, Javeed Iqbal,

Abdul Islam, Akhtar Abbas, Shabir Ahmed and two MT staff Javeed Iqbal and Asif. Head constable promoted ASIs included MuhammdNisar, Muhammad Anwar, Amjid Khan Anwar Hussain Shah, Muhammad Ramzan, Shaid Muhammad, Muhammad Shahfqat, Tariq Mehmood, Muhammad Asghar, Wali Khan, ElahiBuksh, two MT staff Sawrar and Jan Khan.

IG Islamabad pin the badges to these police officials"Today i am very happy you all promoted to next grade due to your handwork and commitment" he added. IGP said, in 2016 44 officers promoted next grade, while 2017, 746 promoted to next grade. IGP Islamabad said that responsibilities of promoted

officers have increased and they have to work with more dedication to accomplish their task.

He hoped for their better output in future and urged them to work hard for protection to the lives and property of citizens.
