ABOUT THE AWARD / ELIGIBILITY:

The Terry Hennessey Microbiology Fellowship offers a young investigator, normally under the age of 35, working in the field of infectious diseases, a travel grant of up to £1,500 to present a paper or poster at the American Society for Microbiology conference: ASM Microbe.

The Society administers this award on behalf of the Terry Hennessey Microbiology Fellowship Trust will reimburse these expenses upon submission of receipts to the Honorary Treasurer of the British Society for Antimicrobial Chemotherapy.

VALUE:

£1,500 maximum, payable to the applicant on return from the meeting. Applicants must submit expenses to the Honorary Treasurer on the official BSAC claim form (copy will be supplied) accompanied by original receipts.

HOW TO APPLY:

Please submit your application by way of a single document; including one electronic copy of this application form and documentation listed below to:

2 Copy of letter of acceptance of the abstract by the Scientific

3 Brief curriculum vitae (maximum x2 A4 sides)
