Ref: Notice of over 90 days long-idling cargo at seaport according to Circular 179/2011/TT-BBC
/To: Shipping Lines, Agents and Forwarding enterprises having containers delivered/received at Tan Cang – Cat Lai Terminal.
Based on Circular 179/2011/TT-BTC dated December 08, 2011 guiding the handling of goods which are abandoned, strayed, mistakenly claimed or unclaimed after the customs declaration time limit at seaports provided in Article 45 of the Customs Law, and other unclaimed goods;
According to the Article 4- Item 2: Responsibilities of Shipping Lines/ Shipping Agents/ Forwarding enterprises ( referred as shippers for short) : Shippers shall notify the branch of the Customs Departments of the border gates of importation of the lists of bills of lading of goods which have been unclaimed for over 90 days after the date they arrive at these border gates according to Form 01/2011/TB-KB promulgated together with this Circular, enclosed with documents notifying the goods' arrival at the border gates.
For the convenience of the customs branch in collecting the data for the reports and liquidation of long-idling goods at Cat Lai terminal, you are kindly requested to comply to the provisions of Circular 179/2011 (Form 01/2011/TB-KB attached)
On 30th monthly, your reports (full columns completed as required) should be sent to the Customs Branch at the address: Supervision Team – Saigon Port’s Border Gate Customs Branch – Zone 1, Tan Cang - Cat Lai terminal, Nguyen Thi Dinh street, Cat Lai ward, District 2, HCM City.
