I hereby acknowledge that I have read, understand, and agree to be legally bound by the terms of this contract and the conditions stipulated on this contract's front and reverse sides; BCU policies including but not limited to the BCU Code of Conduct; and other rules, regulations and policies established by the University. I further understand that I am bound by all information provided by the Office of International Affair.I accept financial responsibility for the entire contract period stated herein and understand that I am obligated to pay any late fees or other costs associated with the collection on any amount not paid when due.

1. Dormitory managing hour
Dormitory opening time 06:00
Dormitory closing time 23:00
Dormitory lights out time 24 : 00 (Fri. Sat.: 02 : 00)
Friends and relatives visiting hours ：08 : 00 ~ 22 : 00
2. Hours for using the facilities of the dormitory.
Kitchen 06 : 00 ~ 22 : 00
Laundry room 08 : 00 ~ 22 : 00
3. Rules
1)Students must follow the instructions of the teacher in charge or the security guard.
2)Students must act in a safe manner and must not disturb other students.
3)Pajamas must be worn only in one’s room, not around the dormitory.
4)Smoking is not allowed in the room or in the facilities. Outside only.
5)Students are not allowed to drink, fight or gamble in the dormitory. Also students must turn off the air conditioner and light when leaving the room.
6)Students must keep his or her room clean at all times.
7)No cooking is allowed in the room. Students should eat only in the kitchen.
8)Students must not throw any garbage into the toilet.
9)Girls and boys are not allowed to stay together past curfew. A person of opposite gender is not allowed to enter his/her room.
10)In case of emergency, students must inform the security guard on the first floor and the teacher in charge.
11)Do not litter anywhere on campus or around the dormitory.
12)Whether using school Bedding or personal bedding is up to you. If school bedding are damaged or stained, the students are responsible for paying the cost of it.
13)Companion Animal is not allowed.
4. Standard of demerit points

11 / If you are caught in the act of vandalism or drawing graffiti. / 5
12 / If you change rooms without the teacher’s permission. / 5

14 / If you commit a theft, immoral act or gamble. / 20
15 / Students who break the dormitory’s belongings and fight each other intentionally. / 20
16 / The organization act which is unrelated to a dormitory life and caused a fire. / 20
17 / If you have a party or spread rumors. / 20
18 / If you have the different sex or guests in your room after curfew. / 20
19 / If you are caught breaking curfew three times or more. / 20
20 / If you are caught violating the school’s law. / 20
1) Case of 1point~20points : Security deposit will not be refunded (10,000 won per point)
2) Case of over 21points : Your total security deposit will not be refunded and you will be asked toleave the dormitory.
3) Those who violate the 14th~20thclause,youwillbeaskedtoleavethedormitorywithoutsecuritydeposit.
4) The demerit points will be reset in August and February.Demerits re-start from 0 point every semester.
5) If students caused some damages to the school(Building and furniture’s damages), he or she must compensate the school.
6) In serious cases of disciplinary punishment, we decide the disciplinary punishment.
(Temporary disciplinary committee consists of : President of the Office of International Affairs 1,President of global language center 1, Representative of dormitory 1, Korean language’s professor in charge(or dean belonged in a department ), Associate adviser 1, staff 1.)
5. Others
Mail : Students must receive the mail in person.
When students cannot receive mail, the security guard will accept it.
If it is necessary to go out, students must inform the teacher in charge or security guard in advance.
I swear to obey the above “foreign students rules.”
If I do not obey these rules, I will accept the school’s punishments and will not make any objections.
