Part 1 – Making the Video:

You can use iMovie, MovieMaker, PhotoStory or any video editing program of your choice by simply filming it on your phone or video camera. The video MUST be edited, have good sound quality when played back and MUST be ready to be shown in class on the due date. CHECK THE VIDEO THE DAY BEFORE YOU’RE PRESENTING!!! Videos must be school appropriate.

*****UPLOAD THE VIDEO LINK WITH YOUR NAME TO MY BLOG BEFORE THE DUE DATE. Also have it saved to a flash drive and/or sent to your email as a backup!!*****

If you cannot create a video:

Then you may use a presentation format of your choice (Prezi, PowerPoint, etc.), where you will illustrate your daily routine LIVE IN CLASS or record your voice but be sure it plays back with GOOD sound quality! The pictures used to illustrate your daily routine can be original drawings, magazine pictures, actual photographs or clip art but MUST be school appropriate. Your presentation will follow the same requirements and guidelines as the live video option. Your visuals will have PICTURES only – NO WORDS.

Part 2 – The Presentation/Showing the Video in Class

Your video will feature you describing your daily routine to the class. All videos/ music will be school appropriate.

Remember you need TEN steps minimum. NOTE: You need a minimum of 8+ reflexive actions and 2+ non-reflexive actions for your routine. Sentences must have a minimum of 6 words each – so “Me despierto.” does not count as a full sentence. Be sure to include personal hygiene, extracurricular activities, chores, hobbies, etc. Be sure to describe your entire day!

Important notes if you are NOT making a video:

1) If you are using PowerPoint, be sure to save the PowerPoint file to a flash/thumb drive. You will present regardless of whether or not we have Internet access; therefore do not rely on the student drive on the server.

2) You may record your voice but be SURE it plays back BEFORE coming to class. If you decide to read your script, you MUST give a final copy to me so I can read along with your presentation.
