Greetings My Sisters!
Once again, the sorors of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. will gather for our seven regional conferences during the months of June, July and August. Seven conferencesbringing together the Charismatic, Courageous, Historic, Fabulous, Mighty, Sensational, Dynamic andBlazing sorors from around the globe to cities of interest, adventure, fun and flair! The Call to Conference for each of the seven regions is ready for you to peruse and peek at what's in store for you.
In order to mitigate any system glitches, we have prepared a staggered registration schedule this year. Please note that while registration for each conference will begin on a specific day, it’s not necessary that you register only on that day. Registration will remain open through May 2, 2011 for all seven conferences. This schedule simply decreases our chances of having system problems due to an overwhelmingly large number of members trying to register on day one.
With that said, please see and adhere to the opening day registration for each regional conference:
D Day 1- Monday, March 21: Registration opens for CENTRAL / MIDWEST REGIONS
D Day 2- Tuesday, March 22: Registration opens for EASTERN REGION
D Day 3- Wednesday, March 23: Registration opens for SOUTHERN REGION
D Day 4- Thursday, March 24: Registration opens for FARWEST/SOUTHWEST REGIONS
D Day 5- Friday, March 25: Registration opens for SOUTH ATLANTIC REGION
Remember, you must be financial in order to register and attend the regional conferences. We anticipate extremely high call volumes and Internet traffic on the opening day of registration for each region. If you are unable to get through, please be patient and try again later. Should you have any problems, please email . Extra staff will be available to assist with registration issues.
In these economically trying times, the decision has been made to forgo an increase in registration fees this year. We want to make sure you are able to participate in your regional conference! We have some serious issues to discuss, workshops to attend, updates from national committees to hear, and plenty of fellowship and fun to enjoy. Also, upholding our commitment to leaving a mark in the cities we pass through, we will also hold an Impact Event of Service during each regional conference.
This will be the last cycle of regional conferences before our Centennial Celebration in 2013. We planto take extra photos for our archives before we cross into a new century of Delta. We will also share the most updated information on the Centennial Celebration plans, including how you will have an opportunity to leave your mark in Delta's history in a very special way.
Can’t wait to see you this summer!
With a Servant’s Heart,
Cynthia M. A. Butler-McIntyre
National President
