We are pleased to announce we will be holding an ‘Autism Positive’ event in Norfolk providing opportunities forsharing, discovering and celebrating, through meeting others, networking,information stands, ‘Autism Positive’ sessions, bringing together various providers and suppliers. It will also be an opportunity to meet, hear and learn from people with Autism.

The event will be held at The Theatre Royal, Theatre Street, Norwich,NR2 1RLwith FREE entrance anytime to the information stands and exhibition of art and other achievements displays on two floors open from 09:30 to 16:30

A programmeof pre-bookable ‘Autism Positive’ sessionswill also run throughout the day. See following pages for details and book your place today by using the booking form at the end of this booklet.

Event day ticket per person includes:

  • attending as many ‘Autism Positive’ sessions as you wish throughout the day (pre-booking required)
  • an express lunch with a drink
  • tea / coffee vouchers to exchange during the day

No ticket required if only viewing the information stands and exhibitions. Please just drop-in anytime between 09:30 and 16:30 to view these.

Refreshments and food: If purchasing a day ticket, lunch and refreshment vouchers will be provided for you to exchange during the day.

If just dropping in to view the information stands and exhibition areas food & drink will be available to purchase from Kemp’s Restaurant inside the Theatre Royal andlocated near the main entrance. Only food and drink purchased from the Theatre Royal can be consumed on the premises.

Getting to Norwich Theatre Royal: If travelling by car, we advise using one of the many park & ride bus services located on the outskirts of Norwich. Take the bus to Norwich bus station and the Theatre Royal is just a 10minute walk away.

There is no parking available at the Theatre Royal.

You may also like to take time to visit the many stands at the Care for Carers information day. This will be open from 10:00 – 15:00 on 3rd Octoberat The Forum, which is located just 5 minutes’ walk from the Theatre Royal.

An excellent opportunity to find out even more information about what support is available and to increase networking opportunities.

  • Find out about the draft All Age Autism Strategy being developed for Norfolk and to talk to Derek Holesworth about this. Derek is Norfolk’s Lead for Adults with Autism and Chair of the Shadow All Age Autism Partnership Board.
  • Meet Sue Burden, a lady who has autism. She is happy to answer questions about autism and also her interests. Sue will be seated in the information and exhibition area.
