YOU HAVE LEGAL RIGHTS

Title IX of the Education Amendment of 1972 (Title IX) prohibits sex discrimination (including sexual harassment, sexual assault, and sexual violence) in federally funded education programs and activities. The Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) requires the University to have a policy prohibiting domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault and stalking. The University is required to respond to all complaints concerning Title IX and VAWA. The University has developed and implemented processes to respond to Title IX and VAWA complaints that may include an internal investigation and may result in discipline of an offender and remedial action. The Title IX Coordinator cannot guarantee your confidentiality when reporting a potential Title IX/VAWA violation. Adler University prohibits retaliation against anyone reporting a complaint under Title IX and/or VAWA.
