I. Your Miracle is in Your Mouth
A. Your Life Follows Your Mouth (Review)
1. (Prov. 18:20-21 Amp) Death and life are in the tongue.
2. (Jas. 3:2-5 Amp) Your life is following your tongue!
3. (Gen. 1:26) We are made in God’s image and likeness.
4. (Gen. 1:1-4) God said…it was so…and God saw!
a. v3, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10, 11, 14, 20, 24, 26, 29
b. (Eph. 5:1) We are to imitate God and speak His word to create our world.
5. (Matt. 12:33-37) From the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.
a. We must fill our hearts and minds with God’s truth so that our mouth speaks life and not death.
6. (Rom. 10:8-10) The mouth and heart work together. Believe in the heart and confess with the mouth.
B. Speak the Truth Not the Facts
1. (Matt. 16:13-19 Amp) “…I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; and whatever you bind (declare to be improper and unlawful) on earth must be what is already bound in heaven; and whatever you loose (declare lawful) on earth must be what is already loosed in heaven.”
a. Jesus and His Word are the TRUTH. People SAY a lie about the truth.
b. What do you SAY about the TRUTH?
c. Peter didn’t SAY what people said nor did he SAY the natural facts that Jesus was the Son of Joseph and Mary. He spoke the TRUTH!
d. Jesus said on this revelation He would build the church! Speak the TRUTH not the facts!
2. (Rom. 4:17-21) God called Abram Abraham (Father of many nations) when he had no children. Abraham was fully convinced that what God had promised he was also able to perform.
C. Speak to the Mountain Not About the Mountain
1. (Mark 11:12-14, 20-24) “…I say to you, whoever SAYS to this mountain, Be removed and be cast into the sea, and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he SAYS will be done, he will have whatever he SAYS…”
a. Don’t talk to God about the mountains! Talk to the mountains about what God has said!
2. God will not speak to the mountains in your life in your stead you must do it.
a. Eze. 37:1-10
3. We must begin to speak life to our dead situations. Jesus only spoke life in the face of trial and death.
a. While being tested by the devil:
· (Matt. 4) “…It is written…”
b. Jairus’ daughter’s.
· (Mark 5:22-23; 35-42) “…Thy daughter is dead: why troublest thou the Master any further? ... Why make ye this ado, and weep? The damsel is not dead, but sleepeth.”
c. Lazarus
· (John 11:11-14) “Our friend Lazarus sleepeth; but I go, that I may awake him out of sleep…The said Jesus unto them plainly, Lazarus is dead.”
4. We must stick with our confession of God’s Word despite the circumstances.
a. (Heb. 10:23) “Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.”
b. (2 Kings 4:18-26) “…Please run not to meet her, and say to her, Is it well with you? Is it well with your husband? Is it well with the child? And she answered, It is well.”
