Week One Get Acquainted with MyFoundationsLab®

1.  Click the MyFoundationsLab® link in your course.

2.  Click the Browser Check link to ensure you can access materials

3.  Click the Take a Tour link for an orientation to MyFoundationsLab®

Week Two MyFoundationsLab® Module

1.  Click the MyFoundationsLab® link in your course.

2.  Click the Access your Learning Path link under Study Skills.

3.  Click on to access the Study Skills Module.

4.  Select the topic: Coping with Stress and Anxiety and complete all the required activities for the topic.

5.  You have two attempts to earn a 80% or better on the Self Check. You must earn a 80% or better on the Self Check to earn credit for the assignment.

6.  Note: The icon indicates the topic needs study and the icon indicates you have mastered the topic (you have earned a 80% or better on the Self Check).

Week Five MyFoundationsLab® Module

1.  Click the MyFoundationsLab® link in your course.

2.  Click the Access your Learning Path link under Study Skills.

1.  Click on to access the Study Skills Module.

2.  Select the topic: Concentrating When you Read and Study topic and complete all the required activities for the topic.

3.  Select the topic: Getting the Most from Your Reading and complete all the required activities for the topic.

4.  Select the topic: Studying Smarter: Studying in the Disciplines and complete all the required activities for the topic.

5.  You have two attempts to earn a 80% or better on each topic Self Check. You must earn a 80% or better on each Self Check to earn credit for the assignment.

6.  Note: The icon indicates the topic needs study and the icon indicates you have mastered the topic (you have earned a 80% or better on the Self Check)

Week Seven MyFoundationsLab® Module

1.  Click the MyFoundationsLab® link in your course.

2.  Click the Access your Learning Path link under Writing Skills.

3.  Click on to access the Sentence Skills Module.

4.  Complete the Sentence Skills Skills Check. This activity needs to be completed before you can work on the MyFoundationsLab® Sentence Skills module assignment, as it is used to identify the concepts you already understand and need to practice. The Skills Check is your first opportunity to earn Mastery points for the topics covered in the required Module each week.

5.  Complete all the activities associated with each topic that has an icon next to it.

6.  You have two attempts to earn a 70% or better on each topic Post-test. You must earn a 70% or better on each Post-test to earn credit for the assignment.

7.  Note: The icon indicates the topic needs study and the icon indicates you have mastered the topic (you have mastered the topic on the Skills Check or earned a 70% or better on the Post-test)

8.  Click on to access the Punctuation, Mechanics, and Spelling Module.

9.  Follow steps 4-7 above to complete all the activities in the Punctuation, Mechanics, and Spelling Module.
