SSA Releases Request for Proposals (RFP)
Today, March 18, 2010, Alameda County Social Services Agency (SSA), Children and Family Department, released a new request for proposals (RFP) for the procurement of SCREENING AND APPLICATION PROCESSING FOR Supplemental Security Income (SSI) BENEFITS FOR FOSTER CARE CHILDREN (SSIBFC) IN THE CARE AND CUSTODY OF ALAMEDA COUNTY.
SSA seeks proposals from community-based organizations, as well as public or private, for-profit or non-profit agencies, to provide services for application screening and processing for SSIBFC in Fiscal Years 2010/2011.
The Maximum total amount of funds for SSIBFC is $250,000 annually for the twelve-month period of July 1, 2010 through June 30, 2011, and two additional twelve- month periods of funding. All contract awards are contingent upon receipt, by the County, of adequate Federal and State funding. All contracts will be performance-based, and earned amounts will be payable on a fee-for-service basis.
All organizations/agencies desiring to participate in this RFP process and submit a proposal are encouraged to attend one of two RFP BIDDERS’ CONFERENCES (see details below).
