Building a Culture of Recovery through a partnership with the Krasman Centre and York Services Network (YSSN) is offering a WRAP Level 2 Facilitator training to organizations and individuals on a payment basis.
Course Description: This workshop is 5 intensive days of workshops that prepares participants to facilitate WRAP® groups in their community and organization. It is for people who have completed a Seminar 1 WRAP® course. The Seminar II WRAP® Facilitators course provides an experiential learning environment based on mutuality and self-determination. This training is appropriate for people with lived experience who would like to lead Mental Health Wellness Recovery (WRAP®) groups, work with others to develop their own WRAP® and give presentations on mental health recovery related issues to groups or organizations.
Our WRAP® training is aligned with Copeland Center’s “Fidelity Model” that is supported by research and recognized as best practice. WRAP® facilitator training is led by two Advanced Level WRAP Facilitators who received their training directly from the Copeland Center, modeling the values and ethic of WRAP® and co-facilitation model to create environments in which individuals can explore how they can learn from WRAP® and use it in their own lives.
Eligibility: The basic, standard eligibility for any WRAP Facilitator Training is that participants have:
· Completed a qualifying WRAP® program and can produce a valid certificate e.g.:
o Copeland Center Correspondence Course
o 2 or 3 day WRAP® Seminar 1 course or workshop, or
o 8 or 12 week WRAP® Seminar 1 group or workshop
· Using WRAP® in your own life

WRAP® Facilitator Training Location: York Support Services Network

Attendance and punctuality on all five days is a requirement to achieve certification.
Fee: This training is being offered at $800 per person.
Organizational: $50 discount for each additional registration
Individual unwaged: The training is being offered at the rate of $600.00 for those that are unwaged.
Subsidies: There a limited number of partial and full subsidies available. If you are applying for a subsidy please read and complete the subsidy application form (Appendix A - attached), and include this with you entire registration package. Preference will be given to those that are unwaged and not employed by an organization. Please note approved subsidies do not include transportation costs or meals. Payment includes: the full five day WRAP Facilitator Training Workshop, WRAP Facilitator Manual and Curriculum, light refreshments (lunch not provided) throughout the days of the Workshop, mentoring by an experienced Advanced Level Facilitator and other activities as outlined in Table 1.
Payment in full is required at time of registration and can be made by cheque or money order payable to “Krasman Centre” and mailed to Krasman Centre WRAP 2 Registration, 10121 Yonge Street, Richmond Hill, ON L4C 1T7.
Please note payment by credit card (MasterCard, VISA, American Express) is available once your completed registration has been received and it has been determined that you are eligible for the training. Please note: Credit Card payments will incur an additional 3% handling fee.

Workshop Withdrawals/Cancellation Policy:
Krasman Centre reserves the right to cancel or postpone workshops due to under-enrollment, instructor illness or inclement weather. If a workshop is cancelled, you may transfer to another WRAP 2 facilitator workshop or receive a full refund. Refunds will only be provided in the event a workshop has been cancelled by Krasman Centre.
Eligibility: Please be sure you are eligible – any registration that subsequently shows to be ineligible will be refunded by with an administration fee of $100.00.
Withdrawals: will be accepted, provided you email us at least 5 business days prior to the training – fees will be refunded but will incur an administration fee of $150.00.
No show: If you fail to attend your scheduled workshop without required notification, as outlined above, your fee will be forfeited.
Timekeeping/Punctuality: It is very important that our instructors start workshops on time. Thus, instructors are free to close admittance to workshops 30 minutes after starting. Late arrivals may not be admitted and may not be entitled to certification.
