Certified Producers Certificate

Procedures for registering on line

If your production site is in Glenn County, you can either fill out your certificate online or print a blank certificate.

To fill out your certificate on line-

Go to Click on ‘Application for Certified Producers Certificate’. This will take you to an application that is 3 pages long. After you fill in the blanks, you have a chance to make changes before you submit by using the ‘back’ button. It is not printable. Once you submit it, our office receives an email that your application is waiting to be reviewed by us.When we review it, we can adjust information (with your permission) then we will print it. You will still need to come to our office to pay for your certificate and pick up your certified copies.

After you submit your application, you also have the opportunity to amend it during the season. California Department of Food and Agriculture (CDFA) will send you an email after your first submission. Remember to keep the user name and passwordin that email in order to modify your certificate (or to update it each year). If you forget it, you will be required to fill out a blank application next year.

To print a blank form-

Go to Click on ‘Certified Producer’s Certificate Application- download’. This will take you to the actual form that you display at your stall/booth. You can not fill it in; you can only print it. After you fill it in by hand or typewriter, bring it to our office and we will process it and give you your certified copies. The supplemental pages are also available from the same web site. At this website you can also search and find farmers’ markets in California or look at a printable list of all the markets.
