KCs / · Management PCs are pulling 8 print queues
· IP Camera rollouts need to be escalated – a meeting has been scheduled
o Meeting was held with protection services who recommended 26 cameras be installed at Wartenweiler and also that the library pay carry part of the cost
· There is network problems at Education KCs, SM has logged a call with service provider (3 Computers) – quotation received and approved – Morewa visited the Education Library, there is need for switch replacement. SM will follow up with him / SN/SD/LN / 2017

Managed Print Services – Minolta / · Signage required regarding print queues for students and pricing, signage to be placed near computers, to be escalated to Minolta
o Waiting for Wits and Minolta for Pricing, still using 2016 pricing
o New signage and pricing between June/July
o Complaint received regarding removal of the machines
· Minolta has visited the Historical Paper regarding the charging of prints – the Minolta have taken the A# paper out and monitoring the situation for a month
· Gugu’s machine prints double everytime he sends a print job – SN has attended to the issue and discovered a corrupt Java instance, he has formatted the machine and re imaged the PC

General / · Oracle Integration
o ES to send Sierra information (version, workflows) and Oracle information to Daniel (Dimension Data [Brighthouse]) – LCS working on a problem statement that will be presented to Dimension Data for a quote
· Issue about Sierra not handling funds bigger tha 21 million
o Call was logged with Sierra, Sierra do not have a solution for the problem yet
o Escalated to the technical team – to follow up. (pending)
· SM was invited for a meeting, KPMG want to audit the process in terms of Sierra Payments – KPMG now having separate meeting with different stakeholders in the library / ES / CR

· New ip camera quotations
o SM : received quote and not happy with it
o Initial agreement was for 3 cameras, now it is including 7 cameras

· Neliswa requested two screens for cataloguing staff: Pending, SM to discuss with CR – the screens will be bought

General Issues / · LCS leave & workshops / training

• Storeroom and Workshop
o SD: from May 2017 – Aug 2017
o Any colleague responsible for workroom should ask cleaner to come and vacuum the carpet after staff birthday party or when the carpet is untidy
o Please do not leave wet waste (bones, food, etc.) in the bin in the Workshop, all wet waste must be placed in the kitchen bins
· Help Desk Zendesk:
o Everyone should be checking tickets on the Helpdesk-LCS is short staffed
o Upgrade in text formatting
o Also check the suspended tickets
o CR requested LCS to communicate in a professional and friendly way on Zendesk tickets
o Correspondence needs to be done via helpdesk
o Helpdesk will be audited
o SID to updated Zendesk to show the dates the university was closed
o Customer Relations Management - Awaiting new dates
o If you are going on leave you can transfer your tickets to available agents
o Technicians should close long standing tickets
· 4 LCS reference books have been received and 2 are still outstanding
· There is ants in the bathroom and workshop room. SD to take it up to the OHS&E meeting / SD
