Assembly Time: 8:30 AM, Participants MUST check in at tent prior to parade time.
Parade starts promptly at 10:00 AM
Assembly Area: Gladstone High School parking lot***

*** Please be advised that there will be no space available for participants to be dropped off in the parking lot or along Portland Ave. in front of GHS. Parade participants/floats are to enter from the South entrance of the high school, following posted directional signs.
PARADE RULES:
1: All entries must be appropriate for an audience of small children and are subject to committee
approval.
2: All Marchers must wear shoes and children groups must have adult supervision.
3: All entries with animals must provide their own “Pooper Scoopers” in the staging area and along
parade route.
4: Please toss candy gently to parade watchers.
5: Alcohol consumption is not permitted and individuals acting under the influence will be asked to
leave the parade.
6: Float design should properly address rider and marcher safety.
7: Please adhere to signs at the end of the route to prevent a traffic jam at Max Patterson Park.
8: MUST be excited to have a great time in our wonderful community parade!

Further, I/We agree to indemnify and hold harmless the GCF and Gladstone-Oak Grove Rotary Foundation, its personnel, employees, invitees, licensees, heirs, assigns and directors for injuries to persons and property, whether sustained by the participant or caused by the participant to another party. I/We fully understand the hazards involved in a community event such as the Gladstone Community Festival Parade, and waive any recourse against the Festival and parties aforementioned. I have read the rules provided and agree to abide by them.
