is situated off the A1 and M1, approximately 20 miles east of Leicester.
It is served by Corby, Kettering, Leicester, Oakham and Peterborough train stations.

Uppingham is a co-educational independent boarding school situated in the small market town of Uppingham in Rutland, England.
The school was founded in 1584 by Robert Johnson, the Archdeacon of Leicester who also established Oakham School.
The school has a tradition of high musical standards and it isset in beautiful grounds – it has the greatest area of playing fields of any school in England.
Sleeping accommodation is in single or double study bedrooms with a washbasin.
Facilities include tennis courts, swimming pool and bar.
