Happy New Year Toll Titans! Welcome to 2017, this is Dr. Crowther with reminders for the week of January 9. First off, please note that school resumes Monday, January 9 at 8:05 a.m. Students will get new schedules at the start of the day, but in most cases schedules remain unchanged from the conclusion of the fall semester.
Tis’ the season for resolutions… if you are a student on the cusp of earning Gold at Promotion, or a student simply rallying to try to earn participation in promotion in June, now is the time to commit to trying to reach your goals. Aim big, miss small and remember to “Be the Change” you wish to see in this world.
If you are a parent looking to increase your involvement at school in 2017, please consider joining the PTA or supporting the Toll Foundation. Please note both organizations still have board positions open for next school year. If you are interested in serving as a member on one of our boards, please see the website for more information! Thank you for your interest and your support of our Titans!
In regards to final grades from the fall semester, please note that only the teacher of record can change a final course grade. All questions or concerns should be directed to your child’s teacher. And, please be aware that although courses are for the most part designed to be “year-long,” grades are reset for the start of the spring semester. All 8th graders must earn at least 100 credits in their 7th and 8th grade years to participate in promotion and 8th grade activities.
