NOTICE OF AVAILABILITY OF 15-DAY CHANGES

The Department of Industrial Relations, Division of Occupational Safety and Health, has modified its proposed Amusement Ride Inspection Fee Regulations that were originally noticed on March 12, 2010, for hearing on May 3, 2010. A copy of the text of the proposed regulations reflecting the 15-day changes is attached to this Notice of Availability of 15-Day Changes. A copy of the same is also available at the Division’s Region II Office at 2424 Arden Way, Suite 125, in Sacramento, California 95825. The Division’s Region II Office is accessible to individuals with impaired or restricted mobility.
On the attached copy of the text of the proposed regulations, new language proposed at the time the initial Notice of Proposed Rulemaking was issued in March 2010 is indicated by underline (underline). Language which the Division proposed to delete at the time of the initial Notice is indicated by strikethrough (strikethrough). Language which the Division proposed as new language at the time of the initial Notice but now proposes to delete is indicated with underline and strikethrough (underline and strikethrough). Finally, new language which the Division has proposed for the first time as part of this 15-Day Notice is indicated by bold underline (bold underline).
There will be no public hearing in connection with these proposed 15-day changes. However, any interested person may submit written comments regarding the 15-day changes to Chris Grossgart at the address provided below until 5:00 p.m., November 23, 2010. All comments submitted pursuant to this Notice should relate specifically to the 15-day changes set forth herein. The Division will summarize and respond to all comments specifically relating to these 15-day changes in its Final Statement of Reasons.
