We have a unique Nurse Case Manager position available. This position will handle Nurse Case Management for both Workers Compensation and Medical. We need a dynamic individual who has the flexibility to move between the two disciplines.

The job in a nutshell: The Nurse Case Manager works with our internal claims and risk management staff, attorneys, and physicians to ensure patient's progress along the continuum of care in an efficient and cost effective manner that ensures quality medical and return to work outcomes. This position utilizes established guidelines to support appropriate level of care. It also acts as medical case management assistant to advocate and link communication with other departments and community resources.

Qualifications:

  • RN with current state license required
  • Must be CCM or willingness to get certified
  • Previous 2 or more years general clinical experience required
  • Previous workers compensation, case management, utilization review or managed care experience preferred

  • Demonstrated communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong presentation skills, verbal and written
  • High level of client service skills
  • Articulate and strong critical thinking skills
  • Ability to prioritize and work productively in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications – need to navigate between many windows
