Notice Period for Termination
A 2-week notice period is required to terminate a Nursery place or to request to alter the pattern of attendance.
Funding Advice
Funding may be available, as our nursery is in partnership with the Local Authority for your child’s pre-school education, commencing in the term after their third birthday.
Parents are advised to go online or ask at their local tax office if they are eligible for tax credits towards their child’s care.
The nursery also recommends that parents approach their employers to join a nursery voucher scheme. The savings can be in excess of £1000 per parent through their payroll. The Nursery accepts most voucher schemes.
Fee Structure Summary
Statutory holidays
-Christmas Day [25 Dec] / Boxing Day [26 Dec] / New Years Day [1 Jan] / 2 Jan / Easter Monday, or alternative allocated days if they fall on a weekend
Monthly Fees
For monthly payers, the fees are due and payable for all 12 months of the Anniversary Year.
Where a child leaves within an anniversary year [but not the last year before school], the fees will be recalculated as weekly fees.
The monthly fees are calculated based on 50 weeks attendance, calculated into equal monthly payments, and incorporating 2 weeks holiday from the Nursery. If no holidays are taken during an Anniversary Year, then fees for the 2 unpaid weeks are due at the end of the Anniversary Year.
Weekly Fees
For weekly payers, the fees are due for all weeks of the Anniversary Year, though 2 ‘free’ weeks annual holiday are allowed during each Anniversary Year, for a holiday from the Nursery, whereby fees do not need to be paid during these 2 weeks. The duration of the ‘free’ weeks will be based on the regular minimum number of days attended during the present anniversary year [eg. If regular attendance during the year has reduced to 2 days at any point, then the number of ‘free’ days available over the anniversary year in question would be 4].
Local Council Funded Sessions
-South Lanarkshire funding presently provides a grant of £2020.00 per annum for certain children. The Nursery assesses this over a 50 week period per year to calculate your reduction in fees, where applicable
-A minimum of 3 half-days attendance is required before funded sessions are allowed
