Local Hair Stylist Studies with World Renowned Stylist Michael O’Rourke, at his Institute of Courage!!
j(CHATSWORTH, CA) – Recently, Cindy Tran, of Delight Hair Salon, traveled to Southern California to study with world renowned hair stylist Michael O’Rourke and his team at the Institute of Courage, an advanced learning facility located in the Topanga Canyon area of Los Angeles. Tran took part in O’Rourke’s three day Structure in Motion Experience (SIMX), in which she learned O’Rourke’s signature system of cutting, Structure in Motion. Structure in Motion is a three-dimensional cutting system that uses a fluid movement and energy flow similar to that found in the art and science of Tai Chi. This allows the stylist to perfectly see the angles and sections of the hair that he or she is cutting. The result for the client is perfectly textured hair, with lots of great natural movement and body.
In addition to one-on-one Structure in Motion instruction, Cindy learned O’Rourke’s Five Points Blow Drying technique and some of O’Rourke’s best tips and tricks for creating perfect finished styles.
