PAYMENT OPTIONS
Contributions may be paid in full from Wednesday 25th January 2017.
Alternatively payments can be made in two equal payments, one in Week 1 of Term 1 and one in Week 1 of Term 3. Other flexible payment options are available. Please contact the Manager Corporate Service to discuss these.

A breakdown of estimated charges for your child’s participation in excursions, incursions and activities for 2017 has been included in the table below. The amounts shown represent the maximum charged for scheduled activities in 2017.
Narrogin Primary School Board has endorsed the schedule of Contributions and Charges for 2017.
The 2017 charges will allow you to plan for additional costs that might be incurred throughout the school year.
Note: You do not need to pay these charges up front, the school will advise you when payment for the particular activity is required.
§ In-term Swimming Lessons
In term swimming is held at the Narrogin Leisure Centre pool. Students who do not have a pool pass are required to pay for entry.
§ Talented Young Writer Program
The Talented Young Writer Program is an opportunity for Year 5 and 6 students to attend the Fremantle Literacy Centre and participate in a workshop with some talented authors. (4 sessions)
Parents will need to organise their own transport.
§ Special Sporting Event Entry Fee
The special sporting event entry fee is payable if a student in selected to participate in the State Cross country or similar sporting events.
§ Incursions
The School Board recognises the value of incursions for students and seeks to support teachers who coordinate them as part of their teaching programs. Other incursions may occur throughout the year.
Footsteps Dance Company is coming to the school in Term 1 for 5 x 1/2hr dance lessons.
The cost is normally $20 per student, however, the school is subsidising half.
§ Excursions
The School Board recognises the value of excursions for students and seeks to support teachers who coordinate them as part of their teaching programs. Excursions for the purposes of this document are defined as outings that do not include an overnight stay.
§ Camp
From time to time, teachers offer to coordinate camps. The School Board has agreed that the maximum charge to parents for any official school camp should not exceed the figure shown.
§ PEAC Camp
Selected students may have the opportunity to participate in a camp and excursions during the year.
§ Graduation
The Year 6 Parent Committee may request some money for providing a meal/disco after the Year 6 formal Graduation Ceremony.
§ Instrumental Music/Band (NSHS)
Students sit a music test in Year 5 for the opportunity to attend music lessons at Narrogin Senior High School in Year 6. Parents will need to organise their own transport to NSHS for lessons.
§ Music Camp (NSHS)
Students participating in lessons at Narrogin Senior High School may have the opportunity to attend music/band camp.
§ Leadership Day
Year 6 Students may be given the opportunity to participate in a Leadership Day in Perth.
§ Leavers Shirt
Students are given the opportunity to purchase a ‘leaver’s shirt’ to wear in their last year at primary school. The Year 6 teacher will consult with students on design and order in term 1.

Hats are compulsory all year. The school has recommended wide brimmed hats, however, legionnaire hats are acceptable. Sun visors and caps are not acceptable due to the fact that they leave either the top of the head, and/or the ears and the neck unprotected.
