Course Description:

Materials: Students will bring a three-ring binder, pencil and pen , and a positive attitude to class EVERYDAY.

Means of Evaluation:The list below generally describes the assignments that each student will be expected to complete during the course. Guidelines and rubrics for major assignment will be distributed individually. Any late

Submissions on major assignment will be penalized one full grade per day late. ONE WEEK only to submit late work.

Grading Scale:

90-100% = A

80-89% = B

70-79% = C

60-69% = D

0-59% = F

Note: All student athletes must maintain a 2.5 (70%) average to play in their respective sport(s).

Class Procedures:

Upon entering Room 213, the student will:

1)Pick up material/paper, readings hand-out (???) related to Do No as described on board and complete.

2)Take out any assigned Vocabulary/assessment, etc. for grade recording during Do Now period.

3)Read the “Days Activity” and record any new assignments from the “Assignment List” on BBC

4)Sit quietly before the bell rings. If you are late, you need a pass otherwise; you will not be allowed entry.

5)Be prepared to begin class activity based on the described activity for the day/week on the BBC

***ABSENCES- If you are absent, any assignments from the previous day or days that you missed

anotated on assignment list and any hand-outs located in the crate labelled LOGISTICS,

BEFORE class starts you must pick up the work you missed. Assignments will only remain available for one week from the time they are assigned. No late work will be accepted after which point and for each day late, one letter grade will be lowered. Students who turn in work on time will receive full credit.
